序数词
1.概念
序数词是用来表示人或事物顺序的数词，在句中可作主语、宾语、定语或表语。
2.构成
见下图。构成
规律 示例
1-19：基数词后加-th(1、2、3、5、8、9、12 除外) four—fourth, ten—tenth, eleven—eleventh, fifteen—fifteenth, nineteen—nineteenth
20 以上的“几十几”：只将个位数变为序数词，十位数不变 twenty-two—twenty-second,
thirty-five—thirty-fifth
20 及以上的“整十”：把基数词词尾的-y 变成-ie，再加-th twenty—twentieth, fifty—fiftieth, eighty—eightieth
1、2、3、5、8、9、12 是特殊变化 one—first, two—second, three—third, five—fifth, eight—eighth, nine—ninth, twelve—twelfth
基变序，有规律，多数词尾加-th。
一二三，特殊记，词尾字母t、d、d。
八去t，九去e，f 来把 ve 替，然后再加-th。
遇到整十需注意，变 y为 ie，然后再加-th。
若是遇到几十几，只变个位数字就可以；
中间连字符“-”，千万别忘记。
巧学妙记
3.用法
①序数词前一般要加定冠词the。
e.g. I live on the second floor.
我住在二楼。
②序数词常用来修饰名词，但当名词前有形容词性物主代词等限定词时，序数词前不用定冠词the。
e.g. Today is my ninth birthday.
今天是我的九岁生日。
③表示分数时，分子用基数词，写在前面；分母用序数词，写在后面。当分子大于1的时候，表示分母的序数词要加s。
one fifth 五分之一 two thirds 三分之二
④序数词前有时也可加不定冠词a / an，这时表示的不再是具体范围内的“第几”，而是表示在原有基础上的“又一个，另一个”。
e.g. I think you must do it a second time.
我觉得你必须再做一次。（已经做过一次了）
