Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是一节听说课。首先通过机器人的图片设置问题Do people have robots now 和Will people have robots in their homes in 50 years 引起学生对现在和未来的思考,从而导人新课并轴 人目标语言。因为本单元是学生学习一般将来时(will)的重要组成部分,一开始应该尽量让学生接触丰富的语言材 料,感知、体会目标语言的运用,并进行模仿性输出。
Analysis of the Students 八年级的学生,有了一定的英语基础和语言学习能力,语言感知能力比较强,学习英语的积极性比较高,但与此同时,部分学生因为英语语言基础薄弱,语言能力比较弱,因此学习信心 不足。老师要设计灵活多样的教学活动,激发学生的学习兴趣,鼓励学生积极学习。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.学生能学会重点词汇以及目标语言。2.熟练运用目标语言谈论未来的世界。3.在听的过程中体验感知目标语言在真实语境中的应用,并学会提取关键信息。
Learningability 运用一般将来时对未来进行预测,正确使用more/less/fewer.
Thinking quality 通过学习,能够合理预测未来生活。
Cultural awareness 引导青少年关爱地球,珍惜现在生活。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in 1.T plays a video and asks: Do you agree these opinions about the future 2.Brain Storm. T shows some pictures and leads Ss to talk about it: What’s your prediction about the future 观看关于未来世界的视频。在老师的引导下,大胆说出自己的想象或预测。 利用视频材料,引入本课主题:未来世界,引导学生进行预测谈论,活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.T shows the picture on page 49 and lets Ss answer the question: What are they talking about 2.Predict: What will our life be in 100 years 3.Go through 1a. T may remind Ss to use “I agree... because...; I disagree... because...”to tell their opinions. 根据书本图片,猜测本课时相关内容。畅想讨论100年后的生活。运用“I agree/ disagree... because...; 句型大声说出个人看法。 通过图片猜测,引发学生讨论兴趣。通过谈论,正确引导学生对未来进行理性预测,为下一步听力做好词汇准备。
Step3While-listening 1.Go through 1b, T plays the recording for the first time. Lets Ss listen and circle the predictions just heard.2.T plays the recording a second time and asks Ss to follow. 3.Go through 1c, T asks Ss to ask and answer questions about the predictions in 1a. may like this: Will people use money in 100 years 4.T shows some pictures to leads Ss to predict using “There will be ___ (more/less) …”. Could you do it 5.T asks Ss to look at the picture in Activity 2a and asks: What can you see in the picture 6.T plays the record and asks Ss to circle the words just heard.7.T lets Ss listen again and fill the report about predictions. 听录音,完成1b任务单。听录音,跟读。练习1c对话。跟着老师进行合理预测。看图片,在老师的引领下猜测2a活动。听录音并完成2a任务单。听第二遍,完成2b任务单. 听前预测,听中获取关键信息。帮助学生有针对性地去听。听中获取关键信息,完成听力目标。进一步掌握“will ”句型用法。预测2a听力内容。掌握“There will be”句型和”more/less/fewer”用法.
Step4Post-listening 1.Go through 2c, T asks Ss to make conversations about the predictions in 2a and 2b.2.T remind Ss to look at the two pictures carefully in 2d, then describe the changes using “more/less/fewer”. 3.T asks Ss to read the passage in 2d and answer questions. then make Ss role-play the conversation in pairs.4.T asks: How to make predictions Then summarize it. 学生根据2a,2b内容进行口语输出。学生仔细观察对比2d两张图片,描述变化。根据2d对话回答问题,然后口语输出。梳理关于“未来预测”的句型。 进一步掌握”more/less/fewer”用法通过图片形象化对比和角色扮演,提高学生课堂的互动性,同时培养小组合作能力。
Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.paper n. 纸;纸张,作不可数名词。表示“一张纸”要用 a piece/sheet of paper, 多于一张纸要用“基数词+pieces/sheets of paper”表示。2.few一些(否定修饰可数名词 fewer fewestlittle 一些(否定) 修饰不可数名词 less leastmany 许多 修饰可数名词 more mostmuch 许多 修饰不可数名词 more most3.“in + 时间段”通常用于一般将来时,对其提问要用how soon(多久):in 表示以现在为起点的将来一段时间之后,后接时间段,通常用于一般将来时。He will come here in two hours.after表示从过去某个时间点算起的一段时间之后,后接时间段,通常用于过去时;后接时间点时也可用于一般将来时。 After about three months, he gave up smoking.4.play a part常与介词in连用,后接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。part在此处作名词,意为“参加;参与”。5.earth意为“地球;世界”, 表示世界上独一无二的事物,因此其前一般要加定冠词the。on earth 在世界上,在人世间用作地点状语, 此时与on the earth同义。到底,究竟 用于疑问词之后,以加强语气。on the earth 在地球上 用作地点状语。 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析,结合典例,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处
本节课的设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念。整个任务链的语 设计均围绕学生生活实际,逐层递进,逐步完成各个环节,最大限度地调动了每一位学生的积极性;对于听力部分,在听之前者 做了相关的渗透与铺垫,听中有方法和技巧的指导,听后有新的语言的生成,使学生在每一个愉快的学习任务中体验英语的乐趣
有待改进 由于时间关系些地方没有尽情地展开。所以,虽然调动了学生的积极性,却没有让广大的学生充分的参与。结对合作学习实效性仍有待加强。
