Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课,在Section A的基础上,本部分进一步拓展了本单元的话题词汇,语言难度进一步加大,语言内容更加丰富,要求学生进行更高层次的语言输出。 首先让学生列出自己知道的工作种类、交通方式和居住场所,从而导人新课,为听的活动作词汇和背景图示的准备。 本课内容主要是对未来生活的预测,学生比较感兴趣。
Analysis of the Students 经过Section A部分的语音、语法学习,学生对于单元话题,话题词汇,目标语言等有了比较好的了解,这为接下来更离层次的语言输人和输出打下了良好的基础。关于未来的话题比较符合学生渴望新知、乐于探索的性格特点,更易激发学生主动。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.能听懂和谈论有关工作、交通及住处的对话。2.能综合运用will表达一般将来时态。
Learningability 通过听说训练,能预测未来生活,并流利交流各自的观点,提高综合听说能力。准确使用一般过去时、一般现在时和一般将来时。
Thinking quality 通过学习,激发对未来生活的创造性思维设计。通过引导学生展望未来,顺理成章的让学生反省自己学习、生活的现状,并做出改善。通过学习,能够合理预测未来生活。
Cultural awareness 1.通过谈论过去现在及将来,引导对未来生活的向往,引导学生展望未来,树立人生规划意识。2.培养学生对未来的想象力,鼓励他们为了更好的未来,应该在当下更加努力和勤奋;通过努力,将好的预测变成现实,降低坏的预测发生的可能性,引导青少年关爱地球,珍惜现在生活。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in 1.T plays video and asks: What will our life be in the future Get Ss think and let some Ss answer the questions. 2.Brain Storm. T shows some pictures and asks some questions: Where can people live What transportation can we use What do you want to be when you grow up Then make Ss have a discussion. 看视频,思考老师的问题。头脑风暴,说说未来有关居住、交通和工作的信息。 利用视频,引发思考,然后通过图片引导,激发学生谈论有关居住交通和工作的话题,点燃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.Go through 1a. T can present some new words on the big screen.2.T asks Ss to write each word in the correct column below. T can lets 3 or 4 students to give the answers.3.T makes Ss work with their partners. lets Ss think of other words and write them in the chart in 1a. then asks some Ss to read the words. Finish Activity in 1b 4.Let's predict. T shows pictures in 1c and asks:What can you see in the picture Ss can scan pictures and tell their answers. T says: Let’s look carefully one by one.5.T lets Ss think and answer these questions: Where are the two people in the picture What are they doing 学生完成对1a名词的分类。和同伴探讨:还知道哪些关于住处交通和工作的词汇。观察图片,进行听前预测:图中人物在哪里?他们在做什么? 通对1a内容分类,掌握有关住处交通和工作的词汇。通过对1b活动探讨,拓展有关住处交通和工作的词汇。为听力活动做好准备。通过1c活动预测,进一步练习有关未来预测的词汇和句型,为1c听力做准备。
Step 3While-listening 1.T lets Ss look at the picture in 1c, guides Ss to use picture clues. provide guided: the past, the future, and now.2.T plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to Alexis and Joe’s conversation. then number the pictures [1-3]. 3.T checks the answers with the Ss. 4.Go through 1d. T says: Now please read the sentences in 1d. 听录音,抓取前期预备的关键词,完成1c任务单。验证答案。 听前熟悉词汇,听中获取关键信息。通过听录音完成表格的活动,培养学生听中提取关键信息的能力。
Step 4Post-listening 1.T tells Ss one is Alexis and the other is Joe. 本节课的设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念,在每个听的活动之前都做了相关的渗透与锦垫使学生对听力活动充展期待;活动设置由易至难,由控制到开放,逐层递进,使学生准确获得信 息并在轻松愉快的氛围中实现了从语言学习,到语言运用的自然过渡。在教学中,教师还始终有意识地贯彻语音教学, 会学生使用地道的口语表达方式,表达自己的思想。
有待改进 学生在听的过程中对句子重音和不完全爆破等朗读技巧还不够熟悉,这方面的指导还有待加强;学生参与度还不够广。2.最后的任务缺乏一些必要的课外扩展,没有充分调动学生查找课外资源的积极性。
