（1）、由think \ believe等引导的宾语从句，当从句部分表示否定的时候，要否定前移。

（2）、区分sixteen years old ；sixteen- year- old ；sixteen - year - olds
sixteen years old表示“十六岁”；sixteen- year- old表示“十六岁的”；sixteen- year- olds表示“十六岁的孩子”；

关于seem的用法：（1）、seem+形容词，例如：Tom seems quite happy. 汤姆好像很开心。
（2）、seem to be , “看上去、似乎”。例如：Mary seems to be a clever girl. 玛丽看上去是一个聪明的女孩。
、It seems that +从句，意为“似乎、好像”，例如：It seems that I have lost my pen.我好像把笔弄丢了。又如：It seems that someone is following us. 好像有人在跟着我们。
He needs to spend time with friends. 他需要花时间和朋友们在一起。
关于四个花费的用法：
、spend，常用短语：spend time on something花时间在某方面；spend time with somebody花时间和某人在一起；spend time in doing something花时间做某事
、take表示花费时，常用句型：It takes somebody some time to do something. 表示“做某事花费某人...时间”。
、cost表示“花费”时，主语一般是“人”，常用句型“something cost(s) somebody some money”。
、pay表示”花费“时，一般是指金钱。

be excited about doing something. 很兴奋去做某事。例如：She is exciting about taking the plane for the first time. 第一次坐飞机她很兴奋。
When I was two , running through the field , she made sure I was safe and keep me from danger.

run through the field跑过田野；make sure= be sure确信、确保；keep somebody from danger使某人远离危险。

must be cleaned必须被打扫，属于情态动词的被动语态，其结构是：情态动词+be+动词过去分词。又如，Teenagers should be encouraged to do social work for their community. 青少年应该被鼓励来为他们的社区做社会工作。
Their parents believe that they should be educated to take care of themselves from a young age. 他们的父母相信他们应该在很小的时候就应该被教育来照顾好他们自己。
这是一个宾语从句，从句部分they should be educated to take care of themselves from a young age属于含有情态动词的被动语态。Take care of照顾，同义词look after。例如，Our parents take care of us from a young age. 我们的父母在很小的时候就开始照顾我们。
Parents should not be too strict with teenagers.
父母不应该对青少年太严格。
、be strict with somebody对某人要求严格，例如，our teachers are very strict to us with us，我们的老师对我们要求非常严格。
、be strict in something在某方面要求严格。
But sometimes this can get in the way of their schoolwork.
但是有时候这些能够妨碍他们的学业。

He is on his school team and has always wanted to be a professional runner when he grows up. 他在学校校队，总是想在长大以后成为专业的运动员。

注意if引导的条件状语从句，主句用将来时态，从句用一般现在时。又如，What will happen if we have the party today 如果我们今天举行晚会，会发生什么？
My parents have always taught me how important it is to work hard at school and enter university. 我的父母总是教我努力学习，在学校努力学习，并且进入大学是多么的重要。
I should be allowed to make this choice myself.
我应该被允许自己来做这个选择。
