Topic Unit 7 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes. Period ⅡI Section A Grammar Focus-4c
Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是该单元第三课时,是一节语法课。在一、二课时输入语言的基础上,Grammar Focus利用表格形式梳理出本单元的语法学习要点,单元重点语法结构:情态动词can, may , need , must , should+be+过去分词。接下来的4a-4c三个语法练习帮助学生通过不同方式巩固上述语法知识,从笔头练习过渡到口头练习,同时开发性也逐步加强。Grammar Focus部分首先以陈述的形式呈现了含有情态动词被动语态的句子。在操练该句型的同时,让学生感知主动句变被动句的规律。4a-4b是控制性练习,主要训练学生掌握被动语态的句子结构和使用语境。4c是综合性的对话练习。让学生在完整的语境中体会和运用两种语态。
Analysis of the Students 通过前面的学习,学生了解了一般现在时和过去式被动语态的构成,用法和意义。但在表达过程中对过去分词与过去式形式容易混淆,在本节课通过系统归纳情态动词的被动语态,帮助学生进一步感知被动语态的构成,并通过语法专项练习帮助学生正确使用被动语态进行表达。
该班学困生多,课堂积极性不够高,参与率低,教法精简重点词汇与句型,分层次记忆与操练。通过各种方式对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练达到语用的目的。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.熟练掌握词汇:flash, community, keep … away from, chance, educate, manage, society, make one’s own decision。2.能用should/should not be allowed to do谈论应该被允许和不应该被允许做的事情。3.会熟练运用情态动词表推测。
Learningability 1.通过互动和小组合作等方式完成课堂学习任务。2.能够对对话主要内容,可以自己用情态动词被动态造句。
Thinking quality 通过了解和反思自己的言行举止是否符合中学生日常行为准则、规范自己的言行,养成自觉遵守规则的良好习惯和优良品德。

Step 1Lead-in 1..BrainstormingQuickly talk about the school rules.And use be allowed to do sth to express them.2.Ask students to say some rules they agree or disagree. 学生讨论校规复习allow to do sth,同时引出新课。 利用情境问答,复习了解allow to do sth.引入今天的语法主题。
Step2Grammar Focus 1.Ask two students to read aloud the sentences in the grammar frame.2.Get the students to look back at the sentences which are in the passive voice.Find out and summarize the structure “should/may+be+done(p.p)…”.含有情态动词的被动语态的构成是:情态动词+be+过去分词。Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes. 应该允许青少年选择他们自己的服装。Students should not be allowed to have part-time jobs. 不应该允许学生们做兼职工作。Can these books be taken out of the reading room 可以把这些书带出阅览室吗?When must the work be finished 这些工作必须什么时候完成? 熟悉课文,大声朗诵课文,学习重点句式。观察语法聚焦,找出共同之处,思考如何将情态动词的主动句改成被动句,找出关键变化点。 通过回答问题,培养学生的掌握语法与重点句式。通过观察总结规律,能更好的掌握情态动词被动语态构,层层推入,提升学生的对比思维。
Step3 Presentation 情态动词主被动转变方法:1.将主动语态的宾语变成被动语态的主语。2将含情态动词的主动句式变成被动句式,即: “情态动词+动词原形”变成“情态动词+be+过去分词”,然后再在其后加“by+主动句中的主语(人称代词用宾格)”。by短语也可省略。请看下列各句:You should finish your homework first.Your homework should be finished (by you) first. 句式变换 1. 一般疑问句:直接将被动语态的陈述句中的情态动词提前。 Must this task be finished at once 这项任务必须立即完成吗?2. 特殊疑问句 :由特殊疑问词加上被动语态的一般疑问句构成。 When must this task be finished 这项任务必须在什么时候完成?3. 否定句: 在情态动词后面加上not或never即可,但must表"必要"时否定式为needn't。 This task needn't be finished at once. 这项任务没必要立即完成。4. 反意疑问句:借助情态动词构成附加疑问部分。如: This bridge can be built next year, can't it 这座桥明年能建成,是吗? 通过例句展示,记忆并摘抄情态动词被动语态相关知识。 通过注意事项,培养批判思维。

Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.manage v. 完成(困难的事);应付(困难局面) 后面常跟名词、代词或动词不定式。 manage to do sth. 设法做成某事 e.g. They were not rich, but they managed to help the poor students.try to do sth. 设法或试图做某事 e.g. If you want to do something, at first, you must try to do it and then you should think of every possible way to manage to do it. 2. “动词+名词+介词”构成的短语动词(如take care of, pay attention to等)变为被动句时,通常把整个短语当作一个及物动词来处理。 e.g. You should pay attention to your health. →Your health should be paid attention to.3.educate v. 教育; 教导 常用结构:educate sb. to do sth. education n. 教育; 培养 e.g. Teachers should educate students to protect themselves. 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课语言点汇总系统,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 1.语法聚焦通过小组合作学习方法,让学生观察句子,小组讨论目标语言的用法,这样学生在练习中印象会更加深刻。2.本节课在复习上节课句型的基础上,进一步接触被动语态结构。让学生观察并总结被动语态结构。通过两种语态的相互转化,使学生了解其区别,并掌握变被动语态的要领。。
有待改进 1.由于学生在不熟悉句子基本结构的情况下,搞不清楚句子成分,导致很多同学无法正确使用被动语态。2.另外让学生做观察总结练习时,未能给学生充分的时间思考,强行往下进展,影响了教学效果。3.部分学生对于被动方的确定还存在困难,结构掌握得不够熟练,容易出差错。课后应加强有针对性练习,强化训练。
