Analysis of the Teaching Material 本单元的主题是“食品制作”。学生对制作香蕉奶昔及水果沙拉等食物制作表达出极大的兴趣,能在课堂准确使用目标语中的祈使句,表达动作指令,并且对可数名词和不可数名词有了一定程度的了解。本课是一节听说课,首先通过图文将学生带入“食品制作”的情境中,并在语境中输入核心句型“How do you make a banana milk shake "及应答"First,Next.. Then... Finally,. "和重点词汇如:shake,cut up, yogurt, cup,finally,turn on,salt,peel.通过2c和2d对话练习,多练习目标语言,巩固词汇和句型。本课是本单元的第一课时,应该通过简单的听力活动输人新的语言,发展学生听说能力。教学内容贴近学生生活,课堂任务应侧重于培养学生的语言实践能力。
Analysis of the Students 学生进入八年级后,有了一定的英语基础和语言学习能力,语言感知能力比较强,英语学习的积极性比较高。但是还有相当一部分学生英语学习基础薄弱,在英语学习中出现这样或那样的困难,对英语学习失去信心和兴趣,所以教师要以灵活多样的教学设计和丰富的学生活动,激发学生的学习兴趣,引导学生积极参与,鼓励学生积极学习,积极地进行语言实践,引导学生逐步养成良好的学习习惯。本节课的话题内容是学生们非常熟悉的,与学生实际生活密切相关,容易调动学生已有的基础知识,激发学习兴趣及课堂参与的积极性。

T shows some pictures and leads Ss to talk about:How do you make a banana milk shake 回答喜爱的水果和饮料。大胆说出自己的爱好。认真观看香蕉奶昔的制作视频。说出视频中用到的材料和工具。 通过课前师生问答互动环节引入新课的话题。活跃课堂气氛。视频详细生动,激发学生的兴趣。通过头脑风暴,进一步引发学生学习兴趣。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.T shows the pictures to Ss, and makes Ss know the process of making milk shake. T may write down the key words on the blackboard:first, next, then, …finally…2.T asks Ss to choose the correct words. Ss should fill in the blanks on their own.3.T remind Ss to focus on the pictures. Step3While-listening 1.T points out the actions in the picture and the list of actions in activity 1b. 2.T asks Ss to try their best to retell the steps of make a banana milk shake. Then summary: 3.Go through 1c, T lets Ss read the model. Then asks Ss to practice with partner using the information in 1b 4.T shows he picture in Activity 2a to leads Ss to predict: 1. What can you see in the picture 2. What are the girls going to do 5.T plays a video and reminds Ss to watch carefully. Then reminds Ss to think about: What ingredients do we need to make fruit salad What tools do we need to make fruit salad 6.T asks Ss to focus on the picture in Activity 2a and helps Ss to learn the countable nouns and uncountable nouns. Then tells Ss the difference between “How many” and ‘how much”.7.T plays the recording and asks Ss to listen and complete the chart in Activity 2a. Then plays again to check the answers.8.T shows some pictures and asks Ss to classify. 9.Go through 2b, T lets Ss read the chart below. Tell Ss that they should write the ingredient under the correct amount in the chart. Step4Post-listening 1.T makes Ss try their best to tell how do we make fruit salad 2.T helps Ss learn: How to descript a process.3.Go through 2c, T tell Ss to ask and answer questions about how to make fruit salad.4.T shows Ss the picture of Russian soup and introduce the background of Russian soup to Ss.5.Asks Ss to read the conversation and finish the chart.6.Asks Ss to read the conversation again and answer questions. 学生根据2b内容口语输出。学习序列词用法。练习对话。知晓罗宋汤的文化历史。根据2d对话填表。并回答问题。 进一步掌握How many ,how much用法进一步掌握食品制作的过程语句表达。
Step 5Language Points Explanation 1不可数名词表示确切的数量时,用“数词+表示量的名词(单/复数)+ of +不可数名词”结构,three bottles of yogurt。2.表达做某事的过程及方式时,如果程序较长可用first, next, then, …finally…来说明步骤,使叙述更有条理。3.urn on 接通(电流、煤气、开关水等);打开turn on/off/up/down为“动词 + 副词”型短语,当其后的宾语为名词时,放在副词前后均可,当其后的宾语为代词时,必须放在动词和副词之间。turn on 打开 turn off 关上turn up (把音量)调大turn down (把音量)调小4.cut up相当于cut … into pieces,意为“将……切成碎片”。cut up为“动词 + 副词”型短语,后接代词时,代词必须放在cut和up中间。 cut out 删除 剪切 cut in 插嘴 cut off 切断,切开 cut down 砍到 cut up 切碎5.pour v. 倒出;倾倒。常用搭配有: pour…into… 把… 倒进里 pour…out… 把… 倒出去 pour sth for sb. 给某人倒某物add v. 增加;添加。其用法有:add…to … 把…….添加到……. add up to 总计为“another + 基数词 + 名词”表示“再…;又…”,相当于“基数词 + more + 名词”。其中another表示“另一;又一”。 another 10 minutes也可说成10 more minutes。 将知识点做好笔记 将本课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析,结合典例,帮助学生形成语言体系。

本节课的设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念。整个任务链的语 设计均围绕学生生活实际,逐层递进,逐步完成各个环节,最大限度地调动了每一位学生的积极性;2.通过浏览2a的词汇和2b的句子,进一步培养听力策略。在听力过程中,引导学生快速捕捉和记录有用信息,并引导注意语调。通过2c和2d对话练习,多练习目标语言,巩固词汇和句型。3.整个操作过程是听说读写四个步骤,一环套一环,环环相扣,过渡自然流畅。
有待改进 1.由于时间关系些地方没有尽情地展开。所以,虽然调动了学生的积极性,却没有让广大的学生充分的参与。2.备课不仅仅要备教材,还要备学生。要根据学生英语基础的实际情况,设计一些开放性的资料来提高课堂教学质量。
