学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)六年级上册第五单元,主要围绕career这一主题展开。本单元学习一些职业名词等, 本单元的教学重点是有关的英语表达和一般现在时的简单用法,主要句型是:What does he/she do He/She is a …Is he/she a … Yes, …No, ...六年级的学生在之前已经接触学习过一些家庭成员的称呼以及简单的职业名词,如teacher,doctor,cook,driver,farmer,nurse等。他们能够使用询问职业的语言结构“-What's your father's job -My father is a doctor.”进行交流沟通。同时,学生已经具备抓关键词,梳理整合信息的能力;具备在真实情景中简单交流的能力。 本单元所谈及的“career”内容贴近学生生活,学生非常感兴趣,学起来较容易。教师在教学中应注意激活学生的记忆,以旧引新,引导学生熟练掌握新旧知识。通过小组自主探究学习新词,掌握基本的语言知识,学习如何谈论家人的职业, 谈论父母的工作, 谈论自己长大想成为从事什么职业等,能从不同角度认识职业,明白能从事某些职业应具备的条件,构思自己的这样梦想。从培养学生进行合作学习、自主学习入手,体现了语言学习的交际功能。同时,教学活动的设计也要体现难易梯度和层次,因材施教,让每一位学生在感知、实践、参与、合作中实现任务目标,体验成功的喜悦。
二、单元整体设计思路

本节课是读写篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过阅读文段,为文段选择题目,并完成胡斌、Sarah和Robin爱好、梦想职业和工作地点的信息表, 让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。让学生进行小组合作操练句型,再回归语篇,解决问题,逐步引导学生在发现问题,了解语言结构If you like..., you can be...,学习能从不同角度认识职业,明白能从事某些职业应具备的条件,构思自己的这样梦想。以及故事篇中,Zoom 和Zip在一起谈论不同的工作, 谈论自己想要做什么工作, 让学生大胆谈谈自己的看法。
