Unit2 In England, you usually drink tea with milk.

语篇研读
What：本课主题属于“人与社会”范畴中的“历史、社会与文化”主题群中的子主题“世界主要国家的文化习俗与文化景观、节假日与庆祝活动。” 主要内容：王辉以第一人称叙述了自己在英国逗留期间的所见所闻，介绍了英国人打招呼、喝下午茶、传统食物以及如何等公交车等方面介绍了英国的传统生活习俗。
Why：“各美其美，美美与共。”不同的国家有不同的风俗习惯和风土人情，这是英语学习中经常涉及的一个话题。通过本课的学习，学生能够了解英国的风俗习惯，拓宽国际视野，培养文化包容心，促进跨文化交际意识的发展。
How：本语篇在结构上采用总分的形式展开，第一段总述王辉发现英国生活方式中有趣的方面。第二段到第五段分别讲述了英国人见面打招呼、喝下午茶、传统食物以及如何等公交车的四个生活场景。文中的配图一展示了下午茶的场景；配图二展示的是英国人排队等公交车的情景，两幅图直观明了，帮助学生更好的理解课文。在语篇中，也加入了了情态动词的用法。

通过本课的学习，学生能够：
掌握重点单词、短语和句型。
理解关于英国风俗习惯的语篇大意，梳理语篇结构；获取关于英国生活方式的具体信息。

Step1. Warming-up
Free talk: I want to visit some English friends. Please help me choose one present , and tell me the reasons. Could you help me choose a present with Chinese features（特点）
e.g . I advice you to choose a box of tea , because Chinese tea is famous for its good taste and a long history.
（PPT展示丝绸、茶叶以及介绍中国的书籍及其他礼物。）

Step2. Pre-reading
Look at the pictures and talk about what you can see. Learn the new words :
experience, stay , for the first time, sandwich, gentleman., shoulder.
e.g. In Picture One, two women are drinking tea and eating sandwiches and cakes.
In Picture Two, people are waiting for a bus . A gentleman is touching a young man on his shoulder.

Write a passage about ways of life in your hometown . Use your answers to the questions above to help you.
【参考答案】people in my hometown are very friendly. We may shake hands or smile when they meet for the first time. We must use”nin” when we talk to older people. When visitors come to our home, we usually give them tea, fruits and delicious snacks.
During the Spring Festival ,we usually eat a big meal with our family together.
