英文书信通常由五部分组成：
1．信头：指写信人的地址和日期。写在信纸的右上角。先写写信人地址，地址的写法要先写小地方，后写大地方。日期的顺序是：月、日、年或者是日、月、年。
2．称呼：指对收信人的称呼,如：Dear… 写在信头之下，从信纸的左边开始。
3．信的正文：指信的主体部分。
4．结束语：指正文下面的结尾客套话。
5．签名：指写信人签名，如：love from…写在结束语的下面，稍偏右。

信头 (heading)，写信人的姓名、地址和写信时间。一般情况下是打印或者手写在信的右上角。
称呼(salutation)
一般以Dear开始，在称呼后面一般用逗号。
正文（Body of Letter）
正文是一封信的主体部分。正文也可采用齐头式或缩进式的方法。
信尾客套语
(complimentary
close)一般有Yours, Love from等。
信尾签名 (signature)
即亲笔签上或打印写信人自己的姓名。
