1、定语从句的概念
概念:在复合句中修饰名词或代词的句子叫作定语从句。
定语:修饰,限定名词或代词的成分,翻译为“…的”
常见作定语的词:名词,代词,形容词,数词,介词短语等。
eg.
Mary is a beautiful gir.(形容词作定语)
Mary is a girl with long hair.(介词短语做后置定语)
Mary is a girl who has long hair.(句子作定语,修饰girl, 叫做定语从句)

定语从句中的介词可以提到关系代词前面,形成“介词+关系代词”结构,该结构中的关系代词可用which, whose, who 不可以用that和who。
eg. Do you remember the day on which you joined our club.

1. 可以根据定语从句中谓语的搭配
This is the house of which I spoke.
这是我提到的那个房子。
2. 与先行词的搭配
This is the camera with which he often takes photos.
这是他经常用来拍照的照相机。
3. 根据句子的意义来确定
This is the pilot by whom my son was saved.

This is the house (where=in which) he was born
I know the reason (why=for which) she studies so well.
表示时间,地点,原因的”介词+which/whom”结构可以与when,where,why互换。
这就是他出生的那座房子。
我知道她学习好的原因。
I still remember the day (when=on which) I first came to Beijing.
我还记得第一次来北京的那一天。
