Presentation
It is made of wood and cardboard.
He glues it together.
He is building a model rocket. ( build, built , built)
They are launching (launch) a rocket in a field (在田野) .
Where will their rockets land (降落) ?
Maybe it will land in a tree.Then they lose or break them .
They join a rocket club (加入……俱乐部).
There are many members (成员) in the club.

1.It's made of wood and cardboard.
made of、made by、made from、 made in的用法区别:
(1)be made of和be made from都表示“由……制成”,主语为制成品,但be made of表示制成成品后,仍可看出原材料是什么,保留原材料的质和形状,制作过程仅发生物理变化;be made from表示制成的东西完全失去了原材料的外形或特征,或原材料在制作过程中发生化学变化,在成品中已无法辨认。
如:The kite is made of paper.风筝是用纸做的。 The paper is made from paper.纸是木头做的。
Butter is made from milk.黄油是从牛奶中提炼出来的
(2)be made in表示某物在某地生产或制造,in后接表示地点的名词;
This TV set is made in Shanghai.这台电视是上海制造的。
(3)be made by表示“由(谁)制造”,by后接动作的执如:The machine is made by the workers in the factory.这机器是由工厂里的工人们制造的。
2.What do I do with my rockets?
(1)do with 常与连接代词 what 连用,侧重 对象;而 deal with 常与连接副词 how 连用,侧重 方式方法;如:
eg: I don’t know how they deal with the problem .
(= I don‘t know what they do with the problem . )
我不知道他们如何处理这个问题。
He is easy to deal with . (= He is easy to do with .) 他是容易相处的人。
(2)这两个词组在使用时有细微的差别。
?一般地说,do with 表示“处置;忍受;相处;有关”等。如:
1 They found a way to do with the elephant . 他们找到对付那头大象的办法了。
2 We can’t do with such carelessness . 我们不能容忍这种粗枝大叶的作风。
3 We are difficult to do with the new comer . 我们很难与新来的那个人相处。
4 I have nothing to do with him . 我跟他无任何关系。
?deal with 意义很广,常表示“对付;应付;处理;安排;论述;涉及”等。如:
1 They could properly deal with all kinds of situations . 他能恰当地应付各种局面。
2 Deal with a man as he deals with you . 以其人之道,还治其人之身。
3 This is a book dealing with Asian problems . 这是一本论述亚洲问题的书。
4 They have learned to deal with various persons . 他们学会了和各种人打交道。
Last year,I joined a rocket club in my city.
(1)join有两个用法:
?加入某个党派、团体组织等,成为其中一员,意为“参军、入团、入党”等.
如:She joined a health club. 她参加了一个健身俱乐部。
We both joined the Labor Party. 我们俩都加入了工党。
?和某人一道做某事,其结构为:join sb in (doing)sth,有时in (doing)sth可省略。如:I hope you can join us in the discussion.我希望你能和我们一道讨论。
(2)join in多指参加小规模的活动,后面接的宾语一般是表示竞赛、娱乐、游戏等活动的名词或V-ing。
如:They all join in singing the song. 他们一起唱这首歌。
May I join in the game?我可以参加这个比赛吗?
(3)take part in指参加群众性活动、会议、劳动、游行等,往往指参加者持有积极的态度,起一份作用。part前一般不用冠词,若part前面有形容词修饰,需要用不定冠词如:We should take an active part in school activities.我们应该积极参加学校的活动。

have been doing sth. 是现在完成进行时, 表示动作从过
去延续至今,动作可能结束,也可能一直在进行中。

3. What do I do with my rockets?
do with sb./sth. “处理,处置,对付,对待(某人/某事)”
eg: What will you do with my books?

This year, I joined a rocket club.
join “参加,加入(一个党、团或组织,从而成为一员)”。
take part in 多指“参加(活动或体育项目)”,相当于join in。
eg: Last month,he joined the school football team.
上个月,他加入了校足球队。
