Grace: I enjoy visiting museums! In my mind, museums are a lot more than collections of handicrafts(手工艺品). Sometimes when I’m in a bad mood, I go to a museum and enjoy something beautiful. Last year I went to the Louvre. The guide told us a lot about the valuable collections in it. Although it was rather difficult to remember everything, I learned a lot while I was staying there. I enjoyed the sculptures (雕像) and paintings there.
Jenny: I don’t go to museums very often. Every day I’m busy with my homework, friends, hobbies and so on. But an experience changed my ideas about museums. Yesterday I went to a local museum with my classmates. This museum has a lot of collections which reflect (反映) local history:furniture, buildings, jewellery and clothes. I liked wedding dresses best of all. I learned a lot about the history and culture of our area without reading those boring books.
David: Don’t tell me anything about museums! It’s boring. My mother often tells me that visiting museums is a good way to learn about technology, archaeology (考古学) and culture within a short period of time. However, I don't agree with her. This summer I visited the Natural History Museum. I think it is a waste of time to see all these skeletons (骨骼) of dinosaurs, collections of animals, plants, insects and displays of minerals. What new things can I see there

【思维品质·比较思维】(2022安徽合肥包河区一模改编)
Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a film actor I was lucky enough to have such an experience.
One of my family’s close friends is a director and wanted to make a project for the Virginia Film Festival. Having lots of experience in the theater, I was sure that my acting skills were good enough for the leading role. But it turned out that it was very different from theater acting.
Most people, myself included, think that actors are the center of attention. However, most of the time everyone is busy setting up cameras. Nobody is paying unnecessary attention to the actors. Each part of the film will be shot many times before it is made into what you see on the big screen. For example, the short film I was in was only five minutes long but I spent half a day in acting. This was because it had to be shot from different angles (角度) and under different light conditions.
The acting is different too. I had never actually seen how I looked on the camera before. So I was quite surprised when I saw how strange my face was. You’ll find the same skills that work for acting on the stage (舞台) are not so useful for that of the film.
I never thought I would be able to work with a film team. So, the experience was meaningful. However, I’ve decided I would probably do better on a stage than talking to a camera.
31.What experience did the writer have before he played a role in the film
A.Directing films. B.Taking photos.

A.Because the director asks others to do so.
B.Because the film will be shot very fast.
C.Because there are so many actors in a film.
D.Because people are busy setting up cameras.
33.What does the underlined word “shot” mean in Chinese
A.拍摄 B.录音 C.记录 D.播放
34.What’s the main idea of Paragraph 4
A.The jobs different people do in making a film.
B.The actors have to spend long hours in film shooting.
C.The difference between acting in a theater and in a film.
D.The methods directors usually use to make good films.
35.What will the writer do in the future
A.Learn to set up a camera.
B.Make a new film project.
C.Work hard as a theater actor.
D.Take film-acting lessons.

Dehydration(脱水) is a drag(阻碍) on human performance. It can cause tiredness and weaken the attention of athletes, according to a study in the journal Frontiers in Physiology in 2018. Even mild(轻微的) dehydration can affect a person's mood or ability to concentrate.
Water is cheap and healthy. And drinking water is an effective way for most people to stay hydrated. The National Academy of Medicine suggests that adult women and men drink at least 91 and 125 ounces(盎司) of water a day. But drinking lots of water in the morning, at noon and night may not be the best or most efficient way to meet the body’s hydration requirements.
Drinking water before or during a meal or snack is a good way to hydrate the body. “Drinking water with amino acids(氨基酸), fats, vitamins or minerals(矿物质) such as milk or juice, helps the body take in more of the water,” David Nieman says, a professor of public health at Appalachian State University and director of the Human Performance Lab at the North Carolina Research Campus. Some of his own research has found that eating a banana is better than drinking sports drinks when it comes to post-exercise recovery.
For those who are hoping to stay perfectly hydrated, drinking slowly and mixing water with a little food is a more effective method than quickly drinking full glasses of water between meals. “Water is good for you, but you can drown in it too,” Nieman says.
36.What may dehydration cause according to a study in 2018
A.Sadness. B.Tiredness.

Gregg Bleakney’s dream was to travel the Americas. He got the idea after he finished a long bike ride. Gregg’s friend, Brooks Allen, also liked riding a bike. The two friends talked and made a plan: they would travel from Alaska to Argentina by bike.
To pay for the trip, Gregg and Brooks worked to save money for a long time. When they were on the road, they often camped outdoors and ate cheaply. In many places, local people opened their doors for the two friends and gave them food.
On their way, they passed deserts, rainforests and mountains. They visited modern cities and ancient ruins (遗迹) such as Machu Picchu in Peru. And they made many friends from all over the world.
In May 2007—two years, twelve countries, and over 30,500 kilometers later—Gregg finally reached Ushuaia, Argentina. (Near Guatemala, Brooks had to go back and Gregg continued without him.)
The trip taught both men a lot about traveling. What did they learn Here is some of Gregg’s advice:
Travel light. You shouldn’t carry many things with you.
Be flexible (灵活). Don’t plan everything. Then you’ll be more relaxed, especially if there are problems.
Be polite. One traveler told Gregg, “Nobody wants to fight or cheat a nice man.” It’s true.
