基于课标 本文选自新外研版高中英语必修1 Unit 4 Friends forever 里Understanding ideas部分。其主题是“人与社会”,主要围绕人际关系和社会交往两个方面展开。阅读文本以线上交友为核心问题,阐述了科技发展在给交友方式带来便利的同时,也增加了交友的隐患。同时,作者举例论述了线上交友的两面性,进而表明了作者对线上交友的态度及对友谊的态度——人人都需要朋友。本文是一篇论说文,文章结构清晰,段落与段落之间的逻辑关系非常清楚。从内容上看,作者首先以科技发展改变交友方式这一社会背景引入文本话题,随之展开阐述了网络交友的好处及其隐藏的风险,最后总结了作者对于网络交友的观点: 要客观地看待网络交朋友,不应不分良秀,因噎废食。从写作手法上看,作者运用了举例子、引用等写作方法,使文章的论说更具说服力。

学情分析 学生刚从初中过渡向高中,正在在适应新的环境、结交新的朋友。本阅读文本主题是“人与社会”,围绕交友方式展开,主题贴近学生生活,容易引发学生的共鸣。目前,绝大多数学生都已经将微信、QQ、陌陌等社交软件作为与朋友交往的主要渠道,但对线上交友还未形成较全面而理性的认识。因此,教师可以有效利用本篇阅读材料引导学生辩证地看待网络交友的现象。 就目前的英语学情而言,第一,学生的语言基础较为薄弱,词汇量不够丰富。因此,教师需要扫清单词和短语的障碍,为学生读懂阅读材料、猜测文章主题及理清文章脉络提供必要前提;第二,学生尚未完全掌握如“略读”“速读” 等的阅读技巧,在阅读过程中没办法快速寻找一些问题的答案,因此,教师需要在课充分利用问题串的形式,让学生不断练习阅读技巧,并引导学生通过“individual”、“pair work” 、“group work”和“brainstorming”的方式去快速找到细节及关键信息,锻炼利用“原词复现”解题; 第三,学生基础有差异,部分学生对于学习英语缺乏兴趣,因此,教师既需要注重问题的设置和过渡,引导学生掌握阅读策略、识记重点单词、短语及谚语,帮助学生树立学习英语的信心和热情。
教学目标 At the end of the class, students will be able to: (1)熟悉话题语境,获取文章主旨大意,判断作者对网络交友的态度 Be familiar with the topic and related situation, grasp the main idea of the passage and analyze the author's attitude towards online friendship. (2)了解议论文文体特征,理解课文结构及内在逻辑关系 Recognize the style and feature of Argumentation. Understand the structure of the text and the internal logical relations. (3)辩证地认识并评价网络交友 Express views on online friendship critically .
Teaching design
Step1:Lead-in
Tina wants to make friends with you. But she’d like to know “How do you usually make friends ”(Individual Work) Students’ activities : Students think individually and answer questions.

Design Purposes: The teacher activates the classroom atmosphere to arouse students’ interests in learning by asking two questions and create a situation. At the same time, natural transition to the topic of this lesson.
Step2:Pre-reading
Activity 1:(Individual Work) Individual work: Pay attention to the title and finish the task. What does “click ”mean click the mouse on the computer What’s the meaning of “click for a friend” Make friends online. Pay attention to the punctuation mark. Why does the author use “the question mark” here Go through the whole passage to find out the answer.(set a cliffhanger (悬念) here.) Students’ activities : Students will discuss with their partners to dig out the connotation of article title.
Design Purposes:Guide students to pay attention to and dig out the connotation of article title, and cultivate students' awareness and ability to predict the content of the passage through title.
Step3: While-reading
Activity 1: Fast reading: Use expressions from the passage (1)Read paragraph 1 and fill in the blanks. (2)Read paragraph 2-3 and fill in the blanks. (3)Scan paragraph 4-7 Is online friendship real or not Tips: 阅读理解细节题解题(questions of details)技巧:Reading skill: Repetition(原词复现),利用关键词文中定位,在原文找到答案出处。 Read paragraph 8 and find out the author’s attitude towards making friends online. Group Work: Discussion:(3 minutes) What is the author's attitude towards making friends online Why Positive B. Negative C. Objective(客观的) D. Doubtful In other words: neutral(中立的); factual(根据事实的) Students’ activities : Students will read each paragraph quickly and then fill in the blanks according to some key information. Students try to find out the author’s attitude towards making friends online. Students do some exercise and learn some reading skills about questions of details. That’s repetition.
Design Purposes:Guide students to deepen the understanding of the passage by answering these question chains and analyzing the logic of the passage.

Step4: Post-reading:Appreciate No one would choose to live without friends, even if he had all other goods. —Aristotle Brainstorming: What qualities should a good friend have Answer: helpfulness encouragement dedication(奉献) bravery duty trust responsibility cooperation confidence diligence(勤奋) bravery humor kindness...... Students’ activities : Students will brainstorm some qualities about real friends.
Design Purposes: Students will know some qualities of real friends, cherish true friendship and build a correct attitude towards friendships online.
