一、教学内容分析
本单元的话题是中西方节日。这堂课是听说课，也是本单元的第一课时，涉及的内容是Section A 1a-2c这部分是关于中国的传统节日。听力材料引入了端午节的庆祝活动。之后根据听力材料内容以及导入来谈论传统节日以及对节日的观点。
二、教学对象分析
本堂课的教学对象是九年级学生，同学们已经掌握了一定量的形容词来表达自己的喜好和观点。并且对一些基本句型结构，比如说I like /love比较熟悉。同时同学们对传统节日的话题了解比较多，语料库相对比较丰富。刚从初二过渡进入初三，依然有很强的口头表达欲望。但是由于部分同学基础较弱，口语表达机会较少。基于这些问题，降低授课内容的难度，优化分层，做到因材施教。
教学目标分析
1.语言能力目标：
（1）同学们可以准确的使用关于表达观点的句型I like.... I think that... How +adj.+主语+谓语！
（2）同学们可以掌握节日活动相关的短语 get together with families
（3）通过听力技巧的教学，提升学生的听力能力。
（4）通过free talk pair work以及group work活动设置来提升学生的口头表达能力。
2.学习能力目标
通过小组活动的开展，提升学生的协作能力。
思维品质目标
对所学的知识进行输出，对所学的文化活动有自己的辨别能力，有自己的观点和看法，培养学生的批判性思维。
4.文化意识目标
通过在不同环节展示各种中国节日的图片，了解到中华文化的博大精深。

七、教学反思
本堂听说课学生的口头表达机会较多，可以很大程度上训练到学生的口语能力。问题设置照顾到的不同能力的学生。整堂课主线清晰。围绕解决实际问题，谈论不同节日以及对应的各种活动，对这些活动表达自己的观点，实现了本节课的课堂目标。(共29张PPT)
