PointsIt must be large enough to hold the roots of the seeding. 它必须足够大以容纳的种子根。must是情态动词，意为“必须；肯定”。用在肯定句中表示较有把握的推测。对现在的状态或现在正发生的事情的推测时，must后面通常接系动词be 的原形或行为动词的进行式。如：You have worked hard all day. You must be tired. 你辛苦干一整天，一定累了。fill作动词，常用动词词组fill… with…意为“用……把……装满”，被动形式：?be filled with意为“装/填满”，相当于be full of，full是形容词，意为“装满；充满”。如：2. Now, put the seedling inside, cover the roots and fill the hole with dirt. 现在，把幼苗放进来，盖上根，用泥土填上坑。He filled his backpack with books. 他把书装进书包。3. I suppose tree planting is very important work. 我想，植树造林是非常重要的工作 。suppose是及物动词，常用来表示说话人的看法、猜测或假设。其基本用法如下：
(1)“suppose＋名词/代词＋介词短语”表示“猜测某人/某物在……”。如：He supposed his friend in the library. 他猜想他的朋友在图书馆里。(2) be supposed to中的to是动词不定式符号，后接动词原形，主语为人时，表示“应该；被期望”，它可以用来表示劝告、建议、义务、责任等。主语为物时，它表示“本应；本该”，用于表示某事本应该发生而没有发生。它还可以用来表示“被认为是；被相信是”。如：I am supposed to start work at 7:30 every morning. 我理应每天早晨7:30开始工作。Exercises1.
