Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课,首先通过播放不同种类的音乐激发学生的学习兴趣,并在语境中导入重点词汇及短语和定语从句的句型。并在此基础上引导学生基本能用定语从句表达自己喜欢的音乐及音乐家。 本课是本单元的第一课时,在整个单元中起到了导入话题、帮助学生热身的作用。音乐、电影都比较贴近学生的生活,能引起学生的共鸣,所以课堂任务应该侧重培养学生的语言实践能力。
Analysis of the Students 学习本单元之前,学生已经学过许多表达喜好的方式。但是用定语从句来表达喜好,对于学生来说,有一定的难度。教师要通过各种不同的语境跟学生交流,或者给学生提供不同的语境让学生互相练习,使学生扎实地掌握并运用定语从句表达喜好。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 学生能读写并正确使用以下单词及短语:prefer,lyrics, Australian, electronic, suppose, smooth, spare, director,in that case,war.2.学生能掌握以下句型:I prefer music that/which has great lyrics.I only like movies that/which are funny.She likes musicians who play different kinds of music.3.学生能初步运用定语从句表达自己对于音乐、音乐家及电影的喜好。
Learningability 1.能听懂有关音乐和电影的相关信息,独立完成听力任务。2能在实际场景对话中识别和理解that, which, who引导的定语从句,并能简单运用。
Thinking quality 1.通过听力活动练习,能精准提取关键信息,锻炼思维的逻辑性。2.通过表达个人喜好,提高学生欣赏美的水平。
Cultural awareness 了解各种音乐形式和电影类型,能表达自己的喜好类型和感受。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in First,show Ss some pieces of music and ask them to guess what kind of music it is.Then,ask Ss to talk about their feelings about these kinds of music.After describing their feelings,try to use relative clauses to present the target language. I prefer music that has great lyrics. I like music that is quiet and gentle.I love music that is loud and energetic. Listen and guess what kind of music it is. Then talk about their feelings about these kinds of music. 1.播放不同种类的音乐,要求学生猜测音乐类型并且描述他们的感受。2.通过师生间的问答,呈现并练习目标句型:I like music that…I love music that…I prefer music that…

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 本节课的设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念,整节课围绕学生感兴趣的话题音乐及电影展开,话题贴近学生的生活,能激发学生的兴趣并积极参与到课堂中来,学生有话可说,能尽情地用英语表达自己的感受,获得极大的满足感;对于听力部分,在听之前都进行了相关的渗透与铺垫,有利于培养学生学习英语的良好习惯。
有待改进 1.小组合作学习效果欠佳。2.虽然音乐、电影是贴近学生生活的话题,但是由于学生学习压力大,课余时间听歌,看电影的机会并不多,导致有些学生无话可说,很难展开讨论。
