Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课是该单元第三课时,是一节语法课。在一、二课时输入语言的基础上,Grammar Focus利用表格形式梳理出本单元的语法学习要点,单元重点语法结构:that/which/who引导的定语从句的用法。接下来的4a-4c三个语法练习帮助学生通过不同方式巩固上述语法知识,从笔头练习过渡到口头练习,同时开发性也逐步加强。Grammar Focus部分首先以问答的形式呈现了that/which/who引导的定语从句的用法的句子。在操练该句型的同时,让学生感知定语从句的用法。4a-4b是控制性练习,主要训练学生掌握目标语言使用语境。4c是综合性的对话谈论自己喜欢不喜欢的物品的练习。让学生在完整的语境中体会推测逻辑。
Analysis of the Students 通过一、二课时的学习,学生了解了that/which/who引导的定语从句的用法。但在表达过程中定语从句引导词容易混淆,在本节课通过系统归纳定语从句的用法,帮助学生进一步感知该目标语言。
该班学困生多,课堂积极性不够高,参与率低,教法精简重点词汇与句型,分层次记忆与操练。通过各种方式对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练达到语用的目的。
是本单元第三课时,学生有了前面课时的语言铺垫,在语言输出方面难度会觉得小很多,课堂任务应该追求语言学习的实践和应用能力的提升。

Step 7Summary 在复合句中,修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句,被定语从句修饰的词叫先行词。定语从句一般放在先行词后面,引导定语从句的词叫关系词(关系代词和关系副词),关系词在从句中充当句子成分。常见的关系代词有that, which和who (宾格whom)。that 既可以用于指人,也可以用于指物,在从句中作主语或宾语。作主语时不可省略,作宾语时可省略。 大声朗读所呈现的单词,短语及句型。 掌握本堂课的重点短语和句子,学会分析文中的定语从句。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 1.本节课的重点是语法教学,因此设置多样化的语言活动才能避免枯燥无味的语法教学,同时语法是为“说”服务的,必须创设更多的情景让学生去说,去练习。2.在定语从句的教学上事前考虑到学生理解的难度,给学生提供了例句供学生观察,并设计了情景帮助学生理解记忆。
有待改进 1.由于学生在不熟悉句子基本结构的情况下,搞不清楚句子成分,导致很多同学无法正确使用定语从句。2.另外让学生做观察总结练习时,未能给学生充分的时间思考,强行往下进展,影响了教学效果。3.最后的任务缺乏一些必要的课外扩展,没有充分调动学生查找课外资源的积极性。
