五、Grammar
1. where引导的特殊疑问句
此类句子用来询问地点、场所。例如：
Where do you live'？你住在哪儿？
(I live in) Beijing.(我住在)北京(可以简略回答出地点)。
Where are you going 你准备去什么地方？
2. there be与have的区别
there be与have汉语意思都是表示“有”。have前必须有主语, “there be”则是一种特殊结构；have表示所有关系，意为“所有”，一般指某人“有”，there be则表示“存在”例如：
Today we have two new students.今天我们有两名新同学。
There are some apples over there.在那边有一些苹果。
【注意】 there be中的be不能改为have
3. There be的否定和疑问结构
There be结构变成否定句时，须在动词be后加not(any)或no; 变成疑问句时，将be放在 there之前，句子其余部分不变。例如：
(1) there is(单数)
肯定：There is a map on the wall of Class Three.
否定：There isn’t a map on the wall of Class Three.
一般疑问： Is there a map on the wall of Class Three
简略回答：Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.
特殊疑问：what's (there) on the wall of Class Three
(2) there are(复数)
肯定：There are some boats on the lake
否定：There are not any boats on the lake
一般疑问：Are there any boats on the lake
简略回答：Yes, there are. / No, there are not.
特殊疑问：How many boats are there on the lake
4. some和any的用法
some和any都有“一些”的含义，都能修饰可数名词和不可数名词但用法却大有不同。
(1)some般用在肯定句中。比如：
There are some girls in the classroom.教室里有一些女孩。
He has some good friends.他有一些好朋友。
(2)some有时也用于疑问句，表示期望得到肯定回答并不表示对某事有疑问。比如： Can you give me some milk 请给我一些牛奶好吗？
(3)any一般用于疑问句和否定句。比如：
Are there any maps on the wall 墙上有地图吗？
