Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课。在Section A的基础上进一步拓展听力输入和话题内容,让学生熟悉并能够运用所学结构谈论其喜好,巩固学习that等引导的定语从句。活动la为写出你最喜欢的书、电影和乐队,为下面环节作词汇和句型方面的铺垫,也为本单元目标语言的运用提供了更丰富的素材。1b-1c的听力内容主要围绕Michael的个人爱好展开,进一步巩固本单元描述有关事物的句型。ld是1b和1c的延伸,让学生将所听到的信息用对话的形式进行再现。本活动还旨在培养学生从听力材料中提取本单元目标语言和重要信息的能力。
Analysis of the Students 用定语从句谈论喜好,学生已经非常熟悉,只是有些学生缺乏丰富的想象力。因此在谈论la时,教师需要充分地引导学生,使学生积极主动地去思考,并且踊跃发言。在听力方面,九年级的学生已经出现了两极分化,这就需要教师用心设计听力活动和任务,一步一步地引导学生,逐步消除学生的听力障碍,使学生能最大限度地参与到听说活动中来。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 学生能掌握以下句型:I like clothes that or which…/writers who…/movies that or which…等 ,学会使用定语从句来分享自己的生活,提升表达能力。2.学生能运用定语从句谈论各种喜好,并展开话题讨论。
Learningability 通过阅读题干已知信息,能够预测听力内容,听懂相关话题的简短对话,提高运用策略的意识。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in Show some pictures of the popular movies, books ,clothes and bands. And ask them the following questions.What kind of movies/bands/books/clothes do you prefer I prefer movies/bands/books/clothes that____________ Talk about their favorite movies/bands/books/clothes and try to use attributive clauses. 通过谈论喜好,帮助学生复习A部分与电影、音乐相关的语言表达,拓展学生思维,引发学生联系实际,进行自主表达,巩固旧知,导入新课,建立新旧知识间的链接。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.Work on 1a. Fill in the chart. Write names of your favorite book, movie and band. Step 3While-listening. 1.Ask Ss to listen and write the three things that Michael likes in thefirst column of the chart.Then check the answers.2.Work on 1c. Listen again. Write why Michael likes each thing in the second column of the chart in 1b. 3.Listen to the conversationand role-play the conversation. Listen to the tape carefully and finish the tasks in 1b and 1c. Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.favorite 意为“最喜爱的;中意的;宠爱的”。 在此句中用作形容词。相当于like , love。eg: My favorite director is Li An. 我最喜欢的导演是李安。favorite 还可以用作名词,意为“幸运儿;喜欢的事物;特别喜欢的人”。相当于love 的用法,love 也可以兼用作形容词和名词。2. unusual 是形容词,意为“不寻常的;罕见的;独特的”。其反义词是usual(平常的),副词形式为unusually(异常地)。eg: an unusual sound 异常的声音英语中有些词前加上否定前缀un-表示相反的意义。常见的有:like(像) unlike(不像) fair(公平的) unfair(不公平的)lucky(幸运的) unlucky(不幸运的) friendly(友好的) unfriendly(不友好的)known(出名的) unknown(不出名的)happy(高兴的) unhappy(不高兴的)comfortable(舒服的) uncomfortable(不舒服的) 将知识点做好笔记。 归纳本堂课的知识点,深层次加工所学语言,加深印象。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 本节通过与学生讨论服装、书籍、乐队等导入新课,给学生准备了充足而丰富的听力任务,让学生跟随任务获取听力中关键信息,从而理解整篇听力内容。接着又让学生进行对话表演,从而达到能力的提升。 在整节课中,学生积极活跃,能开动脑筋主动思考,并踊跃发言,达到了预期的教学目标。
有待改进 在学生讨论的过程中,课堂控制不够有序,有些同学用汉语聊自己的喜好,有些同学用汉语聊一些与课堂无关的事情。还有几组学生无话可说,保持沉默。
