when是疑问副词，意为“什么时候”，引导特殊疑问句。句式是“When+一般疑问句？”，when可以对年、月、日和时刻提问。

意为“什么时候”,可以对年、月、日以及时刻进行提问,或者询问某一动作发生的时间,回答时常用介词at, in, on等组成的表示时间的介词短语。
意为“几点”,用于询问具体的时间,如几点几分,通常直接回答某个时间点。

(1)表示日期时,月份的首字母必须大写,2nd是序数词second的简写,用来表示顺序。在表示年、月、日时,日通常用序数词表示。
