本课的教学内容是自北师大版小学英语教材第八册Unit 10 Buying e-books故事教学。本课呈现了两个场景：其一是Ann, Ken, Mocky在书店选购图书的情景；其二是他们回家后阅读的情况。其关注的语言点是对书的内容、价格等方面的选择和比较。故事中出现的描述图书内容和特性的词汇interesting, boring, difficult, exciting及dictionary，学生初次接触，可能会阻碍学生对故事的理解。而Expensive在四年级上册第三单元已出现，不会影响学生对故事的理解。 另外，学生也接触过excited ,所以exciting也不难理解。

2、能理解故事内容并能分角色朗读，扮演。
3、能在图片帮助下简单复述故事
教学重点：
1、故事内容的理解。
2、在比较时，多音节和部分双音节形容词形式上变化及意思理解。
