Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课,因这是本单元第一课时,其基础地位和铺垫作用应给予高度重视。 教师通过与学生进行互动交流,提出问题引导学生谈论风俗习惯。呈现新授单词以及目标语言,为听力活动作前期的铺垫。本课是一节听说课。通过Free talk:Do you like traveling 引导学生通过谈论不同国家的习俗和在当地被期望做的事而导人句型:be supposed/expected to do sth.来导人新课。
Analysis of the Students 九年级的学生,语言感知能力比较强,加上多数同学很想了解不同国家的风俗习惯、文化差异。他们对本课应该比较感兴趣,运用新句型进行语言输出的愿望比较强。但到了九年级,学生在学习上出现了分化现象,有的学生英语语言基础薄弱,语言拓展的运用能力比较差,而且在学习过程中缺乏耐性。因此,作为老师要鼓励学生积极学习,激发学生学习的兴趣。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.学生能学会重点单词、短语:custom.bow . kiss .greet2.学生能掌握重点句型be supposed to do sth.并运用。3.学生能了解各国不同的文化习俗,学会在不同场合得体表现。通过图片,唤醒学生已有知识,学习运用目标句型be supposed to do 来介绍不同国家见面打招呼的习俗。

Step 1Lead-in Show some pictures and ask students: 1.What should you do when you meet your teacher 2.What are you supposed to do when you meet your friends 3.When you meet someone for the first time, what are you supposed to do 4.What are people in Japan and Korea supposed to do when they meet for the first time 积极思考并回答问题。 层层递进,引入本课主题。同时展现目标语言be supposed to do/be expected to do,为听力做好铺垫。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.Let students observe the picture of 1a. and ask them which country the people comes from.2.Let students predict the answer of 1a. 观察图片找出见面礼仪来推测他们来源于那些国家。根据已知信息进行答案预测。 观察细节,提升逻辑推理能力,预测答案,降低听力难度.

Step 4Post-listening 1.Let students read the listening material together. Step 5Language Points 1.be supposed to do …按照规则、规律、义务或约定“应当;理应”去做某事,其中to为动词不定式符号,后接动词原形,相当于should。e.g. Every student is supposed to study hard.2.be expected to 有望做某事;被期待做某事3.greet = to welcome or say “hello” v. 问候,打招呼 4.to one’s surprise “令某人惊讶的是”,在句中作状语,常位于句首。e.g. To my surprise, everything went well yesterday. 5.kiss sb. on … = give sb. a kiss on … 亲吻某人的…… 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课语言点汇总系统,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 1.这节课体现了任务型教学的设计理念,由学生的实际人手,导人新课,引导学生逐步运用所学进行表达。 使学生在学习中体验学英语和增长知识的快乐,增强了跨文化交际的意识。2.在听之前都进行了相关的渗透与铺垫,有利于培养学生学习英语的良好习惯。3通过图片和词汇让学生更加直观的明白如何表达自己的观点,为以后的听力练道路,提高语言交际能力。
有待改进 小组合作学习效果欠佳,对学生的关注面不够,尤其是学困生。2.教师本身需要提高核心素养目标的认识;3.对于基础较好的学生可分层教学,增加头脑风暴活动,知识再现。
