Starting with two girls choosing Mother’s Day presents, this unit presents two conversations on the topic of shopping in which many useful expressions are properly and correctly used. Based on the actual conditions of the students, one more listening material is added to help enlarge students’ input. With enough authentic input as well as controlled activities on the target language, students should be able to make their own conversation in real situations.

1. Warming-up and leading-in
To familiarize the students with the name of different stores and lead in the topic of shopping.
1. Play the song Let’s go shopping.
2. Ask how many stores are mentioned.
3. Present more shopping places.
4. Present goods and stores and get the students to match them.

3. Play the flash of the conversation and ask students to report.
4. Play the video and ask students to answer questions based on it.
