万能词(修饰可数名词/不可数名词),意为“一些、若干”。 修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词时,意为“一些,若干”。 eg. Some children like playing chess. 修饰可数名词单数时,表示未确指的人、事或地点,意为“某......”。 eg. Some man at the door is asking to see you. 修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词时,意为“任何”。
eg. I don’t eat any apples.
修饰可数名词单数时,意为“任何一个......”。
eg. Any boy can lifte the box.
多用于肯定句。 多用于否定句、疑问句。
在表示建议、反问、请求的疑问句中,或期望得到肯定回答时,多用some。 当any表示“任何”的意义,起强调作用时,可以用在肯定句中。

Language points
可数名词与不可数名词
(1)名词按其所表示事物的性质分为可数名词和不可数名词。
可数名词有复数形式,不可数名词没有复数形式。
(2)可数名词与不可数名词的用法:
可数名词 不可数名词
前面可用不定冠词a或an来修饰。 eg. a teacher, an egg 前面不能用不定冠词a或an来修饰。
eg. water, rice
表示数目时,可以在其前直接用具体的数词,前面还可用some, many或“数词+表示量的名词+of”结构来修饰。 eg. two students, two bagsof apples. 前面不能直接加数词修饰,但可以用some, much或“数词+表示量的名词+of”结构来修饰。eg. some fish, much rice, a kilo of fish,
a bowl of rice, two cups of milk.
作主语时,如果是单数名词,则谓语用单数;若是复数名词,则谓语用复数。eg.“The boyis/comes from England. The boys are/come fromEngland." 作主语时,谓语用单数。
eg. “Some bread is on the table."

可数名词与不可数名词
(1)名词按其所表示事物的性质分为可数名词和不可数名词。
可数名词有复数形式,不可数名词没有复数形式。
(2)可数名词与不可数名词的用法:
可数名词 不可数名词
用how many询问数量的多少。 eg.“How many pens do you have 用how much询问数量的多少。
eg.“How much meat do you want "
但是如果是“表示量的名词+of+名词”的结构,应该用how many提问。
eg. "How many bags of rice do we need "
