The topic “the weather” is what the ss are interested in and familiar with, so it will be easy to have the ss do kinds of practice. The use of the words about weather, such as cloud----cloudy snow---snowy storm---stormy wind—windy sun—sunny rain --rainy shower—shower and the grammar, the use of “might,probably” is what the ss may feel difficult but should master.
The dialogue in Unit 1 is talking about the weather, which can be used to train the ss to listen for certain information and develop their listening ability. In Unit 1 we can also provide good chances for the ss to learn and use the language.
学情分析
1. Knowledge: the ss have learnt some words and structures which makes it possible for them to talk about the weather. Eg. What’s the weather like today?
What’s the temperature …?
2. Need to learn: They have to learn more to talk about the weather. Eg. The words like sunny, cloudy, stormy, showery, and might, probably, possibly, maybe, etc.

本节课的教学围绕教学目标分层次设计教学任务,面向全体学生,关注基础薄弱生,使全体学生积极参与学习,认真思考,完成任务的同时达到语言学习的目标,同时让所有学生有成功的体验,保护他们学习的热情,同时根据学生的认知特点设计任务形式和内容,达到了比较理想的效果。
本节课完成较好的部分单元重点知识的学习和落实。讲解清晰,学生学习认真积极思考应用知识。对于生词,短语,以及语法都能够学会运用。而且基础较弱的学生也能够积极投入学习,并用于回答问题。小组讨论及口语展示学生表现出学习的热情,积极讨论,互相分享,表演积极。
本节课主要问题是学生讨论活动时间不够充分。制约学生语言表达能力的展示。需要安排时间再进一步讨论,展示,真正给学生展示的机会。让他们享受学习和体验成功的喜悦。
