Helen Keller (1880-1968) who suffered complete loss of sight and hearing at 19 months learned language with the help of her young teacher Anne Sullivan and finally became a worldwide writer and one of the most famous and widely-admired women of that time.

When Helen was young she lost her sight and hearing.
