Analysis of the Students 九年级的学生已经掌握了一 定的阅读技巧,通过本单元前面部分对知识和语言结构的学习,他们也已经掌握一定的背景知识,因此能够比较快速地进人文本,分析文本,然后进行适当的思考和评价并有一定水平的语言输出。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in Show the new words that they have leaned last class by playing words game.Ask students 2 questions:1.What do you know about customs in foreign countries 2.What do you think is the biggest challenge when visiting a foreign country Let students watch a video about French table manner. 积极回答,进行英翻汉游戏 头脑风暴,回答问题 观看视频,积极观察法国的餐桌礼仪有哪些 学习新单词,降低阅读文章的理解难度。为文章阅读做铺垫。利用视频激发学生学习兴趣,发散思维,引入主题展示文中会出现的重点单词,提前解决疑难,降低阅读难度。
Step 2Pre-reading Let students pay attention to the picture, and ask: What does the passage mainly talk about 注意图片 ,回答问题,做出预测。 读题目预测文章内容,进一步形成阅读期待,为语篇阅读做好铺垫
Step 3While-reading Scanning Let students match the main idea of each paragraph. Step 4Post-reading Let the students retell the passage according to the mind mapLet students finish 2c and 2d. and check the answers.Group work; finish 2e 完成课本2c和2d的练习。根据思维导图复述本文内容通过小组活动,完成2a 对本文内容再次回顾,加深理解。小组合作完成2e.通过对比中英餐桌文化差异,进行主题深化。入乡随俗。
Step 5Language Points 1.behave v. 表现; 举止 behave well / badly 表现好/糟糕 behave oneself 表现得体, 有礼貌 e.g. If you behave well at the party, your parents will feel very happy.2.辨析:be/get used to (doing) sth. & used to do sth. be/get used to (doing) sth. 习惯于(做) ……其后常跟名词(短语)、代词或动词-ing形式used to do sth. 过去常常做某事 e.g. I read books every day, and I’m used to it.The man is/gets used to living in the countryside.Jack didn’t use to go swimming at weekends.3. except prep. 除……之外 后跟名词(短语)、代词、介词短语等,强调被除去的部分不包括在整体中,常与all, every, no, nothing等含有整体意义的词连用。 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课语言点汇总系统,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 1.设计该阅读课时,课堂导入为词汇教学做准备,词汇教学为阅读做准备,阅读教学为写作做准备。环环相扣以达到最终目标。2.该课时在快读、细读及细节理解上有优势,力求让学生既能完整地理解课文,也能就细节知识进行挖掘和推理。3.整个任务链的设计都围绕餐桌礼仪展开,由易至难,层层递进。同时又使学生了解了国外文化,拓宽了学生的视野和知识面。
有待改进 1.阅读策略,需要在平时的阅读训练中继续练习使用,争取使每个学达到提高阅读能力并迁移知识的目的。
2.思维导图应该在阅读过程中逐步生成,让学生更好址体会到文章的脉络框架。3在最后一个环节中,由于学生知识面比较狭窄,也或者是因为学生英语基础尚浅,在谈论世界其他国家风俗文化时。虽然在课前就已经布置学生查阅相关资料,但是用英语表达出来仍然相当困难。
