Language points:现在进行时
1. 定义:表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行的动作。
He is watching TV now.
He is drinking a glass of water.
还可以表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段
正在进行的动作。
We are working on a farm these days.
I am writing a book this year.
2. 谓语动词的构成: 助动词be + v-ing。
请大家注意观察,其中的be 随着人称、数的变化而变化 (am, is, are三种形式) 。
I’m visiting my friend.
He is eating an ice cream.
We’re preparing for Spring Festival.
They are lying in the sun.
3. 动词-ing的构成规律:
v-ing 的组成形式有如下几种:
1) 动词后面直接加-ing doing buying playing
2) 动词去掉e加-ing: having taking giving writing
3) 重读闭音节、结束只有一个辅音字母的, 双写动词
最后一个字母, 然后加-ing。

4) 特殊形式的变化 lie — lying die — dying
4. 句型转换:在变为否定句时, be后加not。在变为
一般疑问句时把be提前到句首, 人称和
be作相应变化。
1) 将下面的句子变为否定句:

2) 将下面的句子变为一般疑问句:
Are you writing the postcard.

M9 People and places 单元整体教学设计
一、模块主题 本模块以世界不同地区的人们在同一个时间做某事的为主题,对应课标中主题语境,日常活动,家庭生活,学校生活,周末活动,人际交往,社会行为,利用世界各地不同的文化带给学生的新奇感激发学生的好奇心。通过本模块的学习,学生能体验到不同的地域文化,增强自己的跨文化交际意识。
二、模块内容分析 U1是介绍贝蒂游长城的事情。对话中贝蒂的母亲表示自己很喜欢长城,希望贝蒂能拍一些长城的照片给自己,这说明长城不仅是中国人的骄傲,也深得国际友人的喜爱。 U2是一则电视新闻报道,内容是电视台驻世界各地的记者在同一时间报告世界各地的人在做什么。由于介绍的是当地正在发生的事情,所以使用的都是现在进行时。 U3的内容是模块综合训练,练习涵盖了本模块的目标语言和句型。任务“ make a radio report”比较容易激发学生的兴趣,教师应引导学生多运用本模块的目标语言与同学合作,进行新闻报道。
三、学情分析 七年级的学生由于年龄小,对事物保持着强烈的好奇心,求知欲和表现欲,这有利于教师不断地激发他们的学习兴趣。但七年级学生的词汇量和用英语思维的能力还比较局限,他们的推断及归纳能力相对较弱。因此教师要由浅入深的引导学生进行思维习惯的训练,为本模块语言输出做更好的准备。
四、模块教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:能正确掌握并运用本模块的单词和短语。 目标b:能够描述现在进行时的动作,能够正确使用现在进行时。 目标c:通过情境中的对话和阅读文本的学习,学生能够听懂对话中谈论的正在发生的事情,进而能根据图片,视频,真实行为等描述正在发生的事情。 目标d: 学生能通过情景学习和小组讨论等形式来用英语与同伴谈论自己和周围人们正在做得事情。

三、教材分析: What---语篇主题和主要内容 本单元是这个模块的第三课时,是一节复习课。本单元的重点是通过前两个单元的话题复习,让学生更加了解不同国家的身势语,并且熟练用祈使句表达思想。 Why---语篇传递的主题意义
通过在教学过程中,学生们通过实践,参与有意义的各种形式的活动,体验通过个人努力获得成功的乐趣,体验与他们合作,更好完成学习任务,创造学习成果的乐趣,增强国际文化交流的意识。 How---文体结构、语言特点及功能 通过小组合作的方式,学会合作学习,能通过英语与同伴谈论自己及周围人们正在做的事情来操练现在进行时的用法。
四、 教学目标: 学习能力目标: 正确运用词汇: call, lie in the sun, take photos of, wait for, a few ,on sale, enjoy , hot dog , restaurant, go back等。 能识别对话中谈论的正在发生的事情。 能转述正在做或发生的事情。 思维品质目标: 通过对其他国家或地方人们生活的了解,提升学生对异国文化和生活习俗的兴趣,加深对祖国文化的认识。 文化意识目标: 了解不同地方的人们生活上的差异。

六、教学过程
