Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节写作及复习课。通过复习前几节课学过的各国不同的见面礼仪和餐桌礼仪来导入。假设你的笔友即将来到中国,你要写一封信给他,告诉他有关中国的礼仪。运用be supposed to, be expected to, be important to, be impolite to句型和所学礼仪知识进行语言输出,本课第一部分3a-3b为写作板块,继续围绕中国的礼仪这个话题提供写作练习。3a内容贴近学生生活实际,餐桌礼仪,家规及与人外出这些内容都与学生生活密切相关。然后完成3b内容写一封书信。3bt提供写作模板支持,这种将写作任务层层分解的安排便于学生打开思路,这些活动联系符合学生心理特点,表达自己观点,并尝试使用本单元所学重点单词、词组和句型来表达自己看法。第二部分Self Check提供了两个活动,分使学生进一步巩固本单元所学的词汇和语法知识。
Analysis of the Students 经过本单元前面几课时持续的练习,大部分同学已基本掌握be supposed to, be expected to , be important to, 的用法,并能在生活中的实际情景学以致用。九年级的学生,语言运用能力比较强。本单元之前所学的内容为学生提供了目标语言和表达形式,但在如何用目标语言表达观点上还需进行相关的写作练习和指导。本课作文联系身边的实际,写一篇关于中国餐桌礼仪和规矩的文章。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.学生学会运用重点单词短语来组词成句,并有逻辑地组句成篇。2.学生能够总结、归纳、巩固、运用本单元所学的重点短语或句型来表达更多的风俗习惯。3.能综合运用本单元所学的重点句型You are (not) supposed / expected to do...和It’s polite / impolite to do...等来介绍中国的风俗礼仪。
Learningability 1..学生学会运用重点单词短语来组词成句,并且有逻辑地组句成篇。2.学生能够总结、归纳、巩固、用本单元的重点短语及句型表达不同习俗。

Step 2Pre-writing Show customs about greeting manner, time manner, table manner one by one.Present Mary’s story. She’s coming to China on an exchange program. But she is worried about customs in China. Step 3While- writing Let students finish the chart in group of four. Make a brainstorm about Chinese table manners, house rulers and going out with people.Show the step and structures of the writing: beginning, body and ending of this passage one by one. Let students write the passage and check with their partner. 小组合作,完成3a,头脑风暴想出中国的餐桌习俗,家庭规则以及外出注意事项。学习写作步骤和文章框架。 进行写作,并互相检查。 小组合作,集思广益。为写作积累素材。构建语言框架,写作输入。语言输出。
Step 4Post- writing let students read the sample writing together and take notes 朗读范文并摘抄优美句子,注意连接词的运用 规范写作。
Step 5Language Points 写作指导 1.定基调体裁:应用文(书信);信的主体部分为说明文 时态:一般现在时人称:回信主体内容是给别人提建议,所以应该以第二人称you为主。2. 巧衔接(1) 使用平行结构(It’s ... to ... 和Don’t ...)能使文章节奏匀称,这是使文章衔接的一种方法。(2) 词汇的重复(be supposed to)和同义词的使用(be supposed to, should)也是使文章衔接的一种方法。 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课语言点汇总系统,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处 1.本节课的设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念。围绕本单元所学重难点开展写作,并辅以必要的巩固性练习,达到了夯实基础、提升能力的目的,在此过程中还渗透灌输必要的方法技能指导。2.本节课设计思路非常明确,由浅入深循序渐进。教师带领着学生,渐渐进入任务,让学生非常自然地领会本课知识点。整个任务链的设计遵循教学的规律,各个任务以生的认知水平为出发点,便于学生理解和接受。
有待改进 1.教学设计中并没有直击目标,而采取了迂回的方式,可由说到读,再到半控制写,之后仿写,完全放开写作,逐渐引领学生达到学习目的。2.写作不能现场批阅展现更多的共性错误,并及时给予纠正。
