教材分析 1a-1c是本单元的导入部分。活动1a要求学生观察主题图,根据自己的初步判断将国家与初次见面的礼仪进行匹配。活动1b以听力的形式输入了本部分的重点句型:What are people supposed to do when they meet for the first time 要求学生听后检测自己对1a活动的预测是否准确。活动1c让学生结对操练,利用听力1b的信息和主题图进行控制性的语言输出:尝试运用be supposed to和be expected to句式就各国初次见面的礼仪进行回答。 活动2d依然围绕初次见面的礼仪话题,为学生呈现了一个真实的语境,供学生模仿对话。
学生分析 本单元话题是学习不同国家的风俗礼仪,学生对该话题比较感兴趣。对于基本的礼仪的词汇shake hands, bow, kiss学生能容易理解和掌握,只是对不同的国家学生可能感到陌生。此外,本部分学生可能存在的困难是在对于句子结构be supposed to,be expected to的运用,有时可能会出错,但随着练习的增多,他们会熟练准确使用。
