现在进行时句式结构:
(Structure)
sb. + am/is/are + doing sth.
标志词: (symbol words)
look, listen, now = at the moment, be quiet
现在进行时顺口溜:
进行时,很简单,动词后加-ing.
变疑问,be 提前,变否定not 紧跟be 后面。
一般情况下:V(直接)+ing
1) reading ,drinking, eating, meeting thinking
以不发音的e结尾,去e加ing(注意:seeing, being)
重读闭音节要双写结尾的辅音字母再加ing
3) sitting swimming putting running

go on a picnic的用法
go on a picnic意为“去野餐”,其同义表达为go for a picnic和have a picnic等。其中picnic为可数名词,意为“野餐”。
They are going on a picnic on Sunday.
周日他们将要去野餐。

2.Bob is carrying a big basket of food.
鲍勃正提着一大篮子食物。(教材P72)
carry的用法
carry作动词,意为“携带;搬运”。
I can carry this box. 我能搬动这个箱子。
【易混辨析】 carry,bring和take

carry 意为“携带;搬运”, 指搬运较重的东西, 不强调动作的方向 The boy is strong enough to carry the box. 这个男孩很强壮,能够搬动这个箱子。

用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情,结构是:
be+动词-ing
动词从原形到现在分词的变化规则:
一、直接加-ing;
二、以不发音的e结尾的,先去e再加-ing
三、以重读闭音节结尾的动词,先双写末尾辅音字母,再加-ing
四、lie与die的分词形式是lying和dying
