Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课,通过听说活动拓展单元话题,巩固目标语言的运用。活动1a要求写出一周相对应的日期。活动1b 复习并拓展了表达时间的词汇。活动lc借用1a和1b的信 息操练对日期提问的句型What's today I's….活动1d-le是绪合日期等相关信息进行的听力检测。活动1是听力的延续,让学生将听到的信息用角色扮演的方式进行语言输出。
Analysis of the Students 对于学生来说,本节课最大的挑战是词汇以及日期的表达法,尽管周一到周日的词汇和一月到十二月的词汇学生早已经学过,但由于拼写比较复杂,一直是学生难以克服的问题。所以这节课教师应引领学生进行充分的复习,本节课又学习了前天、后天、工作日等一些新的表达时间的词汇,是本课的重点。相信其他部分不会给学生造成太大的困扰。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in 1.T shows some pictures and lets Ss ask and answer about dates and days of the week like these: What will be the date tomorrow What day was it yesterday What day is it today 2.T guides Ss to review days of the week and months of the year. 3.T makes Ss learn new words and phrases while reviewing the dates and days of the week.4.T can present new words and phrases on the big screen. 情景导入,回顾日期的表达。看图片,趣味回顾月份和星期的表达。同时穿插学习本课时词汇。 利用情景导入和丰富有趣的的图片导入,,激发学生谈论日期和星期,点燃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.Go through 1a. T asks Ss to talk about the ordinal numbers from1st to 31st. Then let Ss write the dates for this week on the calendar. T may ask some questions: What is the first day of a week Which days are weekends Which days are weekdays 2.Work on 1b. T lets Ss read the phrases in the box, Then Ss write these words after the correct dates on the calendar.3.T helps Ss master the right way to ask and answer about dates and days 4.Go through 1c. T has Ss work in pairs. Then practice the target language on activity 1c.5.T lets Ss look at the picture in 1d, guides Ss to use picture clues. 学生讨论一个月中的日期表达,完成本周日历表。根据前面的复习和第一步的操练,完成1b。跟着老师复习总结有关日期的问答语句。然后分组练习1c对话。对1d活动进行预测。 通过1a,1b活动,复习日期的表达。探讨日程。通过对日期对话探讨,为听力活动做好词汇准备。
Step 3While-listening 1.T plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to the conversation. then give the answer about this question: Can Vince play tennis with Andy 2.T checks the answers with the Ss.3.Go through 1e. T says: Now please read the sentences in the box. Then plays the recording again and asks Ss to listen carefully. Have Ss match Vince’s activities with the days in 1d. T may let 1 or 2 students give the answers. Then checks the answers with the class.4.T says: Let’s retell Vince’s Activities with the help of the timeline. 5.T plays the recording again. asks Ss to follow. 听录音,抓取前期预备的关键词,完成1d任务单。验证答案。先读1d语句,再听录音,注意时间,完成1e任务。按时间线复述Vince的日程安排。再听录音,并跟读。 听前熟悉词汇,预测内容,听中获取关键信息。通过听录音完成表格匹配的活动,培养学生听中提取关键信息的能力。
Step 4Post-listening 1.T asks Ss to close the book and try to help Andy complete the monologue(独白).Ss may finish it on their own.2.Work on 1f. T asks Ss to practice giving and refusing invitations. 合上书本完成该对话的短文填空。讨论完成1f。 通过听中获取的信息,完成report.通过对话,进一步掌握本课时目标句型。

(2)假若在句末同时出现几个时间状语,通常按表示时间的 确切程度排列,即确切的时间在前,较笼统的时间在后,或者说表示较短时间的在前,表示较长时间的在后。I saw the film on Friday evening last week. Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处
1.
听力教学部分,采用听前、听中和听后活动的听力教学模式,在听之前都做了相关的渗透与铺垫,有利于学生捕捉听的信息。2.学生通过听力练习,复习了本单元的用法结构,巩固了提出邀请和做出应答目标句型。
有待改进 1.对于不同层次的学生,语言输出可以采取分层教学,给予学生更多操练应用的机会。2.对学生的关注面不够,老师在课堂上应尽可能多地提供给学生表达的机会,尤其是学困生。3.听力策略指导不够,听力技巧指导方面需要加强。
