关于教学内容
本课是五下第五单元第一课时,单元主题是帮助父母,话题是关于家务劳动。类似旧教材Doing housework。只不过是情感升华了。第一课时依旧是帮助父母。因为Story time板块就是描述的Mike和Helen在周六两个时间段帮助父母做家务。为了使学生更好的学习,我制作了关于现在进行时的微课,本课初学现在进行时,在听说阅读等环节有大量的现在分词出现,时态的学习是学生认读这些现在分词的基础,有学习的必要性。
关于教学目标
本课关于此板块的具体目标设定为:1. 初学课文,会读、会说本单元重点词句: clean, cook, wash, sweep, busy; What is he/she doing?He/She is…What are you/they doing? I am/We/They are… 2. 能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下,借助图片或关键词尝试复述课文内容。3. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做什么。4. 体谅父母的辛劳,树立观念:力所能及帮助父母!小学《英语》教材对story time的功能界定是:通过对话、短文、短剧等,帮助学生掌握基本的英语语言知识,发展基本的英语听、说、读、写技能,初步形成用英语与他人交流的能力,进一步促进思维的能力的发展,同时提高学生的综合人文素养。我所有的语言知识和技能目标的核心词是:初学。为后续课时的强化训练和充分运用打基础。
关于教学过程
本单元的重难点是现在进行时这个时态的学习与应用。这个时态是整个小学阶段时态学习最难点也不为过。教材为这个时态的教学也在逐步渗透,第一单元的语音板块,第四单元的语音板块都作为语音练习的辅料呈现。为了更直观的让学生理解现在进行时,我设置了前置性的学习——微课。通过三个活动让学生理解现在进行时以及用法。第一个活动:设计了羊羊一家帮助村长打扫屋子的一个故事,通过故事的讲述让学生初步理解现在进行时。第二个活动:Magic eyes的游戏让学生能运用现在进行时回答。第三个活动:Ask and answer的活动让学生理解并操练现在进行时。预留的作业是收集关于更多做家务的词组。
学前主要围绕微课,检查作业。对学生的掌握情况做一个了解,设计了Brain Storm头脑风暴的游戏,让学生说出更多关于做家务的词组,为文本的学习埋下伏笔。因为本课的任务较多,所以我设计了Look and find这个阅读前的活动,主要帮助学生理清人物和他们所在的地点。补充了文化差异的小贴士:In many foreign countries,pets are also their family members,这样能够让学生理解中西方文化的差异。
学中主要围绕语篇,感知语言。研读文本时,我遇到了这样的一个问题:是否要把文本整体感知?第一二稿时,我都整体感知了文本,设计了Read and match这样的环节。教研员磨课时提出了异议:她指出文本内容根本算不上一个完整的故事。再研读文本,决定根据时间morning和afternoon分成两部分处理,第一部分设计了listen and match, 核对答案时,对于现在进行时的问答,我做到了逐步放手,第一、二幅图让学生理解跟读,第三幅图让学生问和答,第四、五、六幅图让学生试着说完整的句子,也为下面的复述课文作下铺垫。跟进的活动是Ask and answer. 最后通过重音、降调的提示让学生模仿地道的语音语调。第二部分设计了Read and underline的活动,通过阅读策略指导学生阅读,核对答案的环节完全放手让学生问和答。在listen and imitate的环节之后,设计了让学生借助于板书Retell the story what they are doing in the afternoon,操练环节是和partner 2进行练习,对于partner我来解释一下:通常是四人一组,横排的两个人是Partner 1,竖排的两个人是Partner 2,交叉的两个人是Partner 3,这样的好处显而易见,可以让学生获得更多交流的机会,交流对象的变化,也使学生获得更多不同的信息。揭题的时候,我通过活动Read and understand呈现书中所涉及的两句话:I am helping him. Helen and I are helping her.让学生理解him和her这两个代词分别指代谁,顺理成章的揭示出课题Helping our parents。情感教育,我们再也不需要贴标签的情感教育。揭题后,我问:Do you help your parents at home? 然后追问:What do you do for your parents? 在问答中表扬学生,倡导学生帮助父母做力所能及的事情。
学后环节在两部分之后有局部的延伸,我创编了绘本故事:Mike的一家晚上正在做的事情。之前,我通过Think and guess让学生用Maybe... is/are...句型猜测他们晚上正在做的事情,这正是运用语言的一个过程,不仅运用了的词汇,同时也运用了时态。通过绘本的阅读让学生从口头的操练过渡到笔头的练习,正好也将这个故事补充完整。至此,Mike一家的故事由此结束,我的一节课也告一段落。
关于教学效果
基于目标的出发和归属,我觉得教学效果基本达成,最后输出环节还有遗憾。主要是由于给学生的框架太多,没有高效实现由扶到放的自然过渡。
