What are you doing
表示现在正在进行或发生的动作,也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
其构成形式是:
主语+be (am/is/are) +动词的现在分词

现在进行时的含义与构成
1. 含义:表示现在正在进行或一段时间正在进行的动作。
表示此时此刻正在进行的动作。
--What are you doing now
--We are having our English class.
表示现阶段正在进行着的动作。
I am writing an English story.
They are studying in Beijing Sunshine Middle School.
现在进行时由be (am/is/are)+动词-ing形式构成的。
肯定句结构:主语+be+动词-ing形式+其他.
否定句结构:主语+be (not) +动词-ing形式+其他
一般疑问句结构和回答: Be+主语+动词-ing形式+其他?Yes,主语+be. No,主语+be (not).
2.动词的现在分词的变化规则:(动词-ing 的构成)
1)直:一般在词尾加-ing,如:
read-reading look-looking
play-playing eat-eating
2)去:以不发音的 e 结尾的词先把去掉再加-ing,如:
take-taking have-having
(be — being see — seeing )
3) 双:以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音结尾的词,应双写最后的辅音字母,再加-ing, 如:
sit-sitting run-running
swim-swimming shop-shopping
put-putting set-setting
stop-stopping begin-beginning
4) 特:以ie结尾的词,变ie为 y + -ing 如:

Most verbsT: When we use the present continuous tense, we must be careful with the “-ing” form of the verb. Please look at these words. What can you find Yes, we add “-ing” to the words directly. We can add “-ing” to most verbs.e.g. work→working, play→playing, show→showing, go→goingb. Verbs ending in a silent “e” T: Now look at these words. When the verb ends with a silent “e”, we drop the “e” and add “-ing”.e.g. come→coming, make→making, dance→dancing, take→takingc. Verbs ending in “ie” T: Here are three words. They all end in “ie”. For the verbs ending in “ie”, we usually change “ie” to “y”, and then add “-ing”. e.g. lie→lying, tie→tying, die→dyingd. Some verbs ending in a consonant + a vowel + a consonantT: Look at these words. They are short and end in “a consonant + a vowel + a consonant”. For these words, we must double the last consonant and then add “-ing”. e.g. run→running, swim→swimming, get→getting, plan→planning【设计意图:让学生直观理解并总结动词现在分词的构成规则。】(2) Practice.a.
