Language points
2. The weather gets cooler， and the green leaves start to turn gold， then brown.
天气变得比较凉爽，绿色的树叶开始变成金黄色，然后变成褐色。
辨析：get， turn， become， go和grow
这几个词均可表示“变成，变得”，后面接形容词，表达“从(一种状态)变成(另一种状态)”。
巧记：
天气变化用get，颜色变化要用turn； 逐渐变化用grow，由好变坏要用go；
变化完成用become；变化不同词不同。
get 较口语化，表示进入或变成某种状态，常接表示气候变化的形容词，可与形容词的比较级连用。
turn 多接表示颜色的形容词作表语，意思上侧重于“变得与以前完全不同”。
become 用法较为正式，强调由一种状态向另一种状态的变化，强调变化的过程已经完成，后接形容词或名词。
go 通常表示由好变坏或由正常情况变成特殊情况。
grow 有逐渐变为新状态的含义，侧重变化的过程。
