英语学科核心素养
(Core Literacy of English Subject)
《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》中指出了普通高中英语课程具有重要的育人功能,旨在发展学生的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力等英语学科核心素养,落实立德树人根本任务。学科核心素养是学科育人价值的集中体现,是学生通过英语学习
而初步形成的正确价值观念、必备品质和关键能力。本节课
学生通过阅读文本来获取与梳理、概括与总结如何描述庆祝
活动,学会观察、记录生活中的美好瞬间,提高语言能力;
通过小组合作探讨,学生评价与判断记叙文写作的标准,获
得对于记叙文写作的认知。
英语学习活动观
(Concept of English Learning Activities)
普通高中英语课程倡导指向学科核心素养发展的英语学习活动观和自主学习、合作学习、探究学习等方式。本节课作为写作课,通过听、看、读等活动,培养学生在主题语境中获取、分析、概括、总结信息的能力;通过小组合作探讨、评价分享等活动培养学生的合作能力、迁移创新能力。提升学生的语言能力、写作能力和跨文化交际能力,引导学生树立热爱生活、热爱生命的积极的情感,传播积极的正能量。
英语学科大观念
(General Concept of English Subject)
《课标》强调“以学科大概念为核心,使课程内容结构化,以主题为引领,使课程内容情景化,促进学科核心素养的落实”。根据王蔷教授近期的相关研究,英语学科的大观念可大致分为主题大观念(content-related)和语言大观念(language-related)两方面。主题大观念主要指通过语言学习获取的跨文化领域的情感态度和价值观。语言大观念则主要指向具体的语言能力习得。
本单元的主题大观念是用英语阐述对庆典活动的认知,树立正确的人生观;善于发现生活中的美好瞬间,宣传热爱生活、热爱生命的精神;提升健康生活的理念。在本课中,学生通过研读文本,感受与家人相处过程中的美好瞬间,提高学生对于美好生活的感悟能力,树立积极乐观的生活态度。在语言大观念方面,学生围绕主题整合学习关于庆祝节日或者活动的词汇和表达方式;在本课的学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新的活动中,能有条理、有逻辑地进行输出,表达自己的观点。

单元主题分析
本单元的主题是节日与庆典,属于《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》“人与社会”主题范畴下的“文学、艺术与体育”子主题群中的“节日庆典、风俗习惯、中外文化知识、文明交流互鉴”。
单元主题大观念
构建对庆祝节日的认识,了解东西方文化差异,传承优秀的历史文化,使学生在节日中增长知识、收到教益,有助于彰显文化,弘扬美德,结合情景,弘扬传统。

学情分析
Analysis of the Students
学生在学习必修一Unit 3 Writing Workshop时,能够能够联系本单元Lesson 1、Viewing Workshop, and Reading Club,通过整合学习认识到东西方在庆祝节日和庆典时存在的文化差异;陶冶学生的情操,让学生们学会感受生活之美,从而积极乐观地享受生活。
授课对象为高一年级学生,学生们平时能够积极参与课堂活动,踊跃发言。有一定的英语基础,对于本课主题,学生能够进行简单的口头和书面表达。大部分学生能够提取文本中事实性的细节信息,理解一些短语和重点句型的表达技巧。少数学生英语基础薄弱。
学生对文本的深入理解能力还有待挖掘,对篇章层面的把握还需要提升,概括总结的能力还需要加强。学生使用英语的准确性较差,词汇量匮乏;用英语准确表达自己想法的自信心还比较欠缺。
