Have you read the story of Chang'e It's a very touching story. Chang'e was Hou Yi's wife. After Hou Yi shot nine suns, one goddess gave his magic medicine to thank him. Eating this medicine would be immortal. Hou Yi planned to take medicine with his wife. But one day, when he was away from home, a bad man, Pang Meng wanted to steal the magic medicine. Chang'e did not give him the medicine and ate all the medicine. She became light and flew to the moon. Hou Yi was so sad that he called out her name to the moon every day. After Chang'e ate the magic medicine and ran to the moon
she didn't think about tea and rice every day. When the queen
mother knew about this, she gave her a jade rabbit. Although
Chang'e was accompanied by the jade rabbit every day, she
was still depressed all day long, thinking about Hou Yi on land
and of course, Hou Yi was the same.
One day, Hou Yi couldn't restrain his yearning for
Chang'e, so he ran to the Queen Mother and she gave him an
elixir to fly to Guanghan Palace to see Chang'e. When Hou Yi
saw the elixir, he suddenly thought that there was something
strange and thought that a villain forced Chang' e to eat it, so he made up his mind to catch the treacherous villain. Later, Hou Yi used elixir as bait to make the villain appear. Sure enough, as Hou Yi expected, the villain took a fancy to HouYi's elixir. One day, Hou Yi pretended to go out, but actually hid in a hidden place. The villain sneaked into Hou Yi's room and rummaged through the cupboard to find the elixir. Finally, he was caught red-handed. The villain was still quibbling at that time, but Hou Yi killed him at last.
Finally, Hou Yi couldn't help missing Chang'e. He ate the elixir and flew to the moon to meet Chang'e. After seeing Chang'e, he and Chang'e lived happily in Guanghan Palace.

I love chocolate In fact ,if I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be chocolate. So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered that a chocolate festival was coming to Bastia, my new hometown in Corsica! The festival opened its doors on the 21st October and lasted for three whole days! For just f2.5 each, my friends and I stepped inside the huge festival tent, where we could eat as much as we wanted. The festival is one of the most popular events in Corsica and more than 50,000 chocolate lovers visit it every year.
Once inside the festival tent, I could not help feeling amazed. With over 125 different stalls(摊位) ,it was difficult to know where to begin ! I finally decided to head straight for the highlight (最精彩的部分)of the festival-一 a very large Arc de Triomphe(凯旋门)made totally out of chocolate !It was almost 4 meters high, and it took master Bruno Rouly almost 1,500 hours to finish. And over 900 kg of chocolate
was used. Surprisingly,though it's sunny outside,the Arc de Triomphe showed no signs of melting(融化). Later on, I found out that special wax(蜡)had been used to protect Arc de Triomphe during the festival. Unfortunately, the wax was inedible, so the large Arc de Triomphe could not be eaten- what a waste!
After taking a few photos in front of the chocolate Arc de Triomphe , I went to different stalls. The chocolate came in many different shapes and sizes, I saw chocolate planes, shoes, animals and my personal favorite, pencils ! Corsican wine makers, bakers and cheese makers also take part in the festival each year so that visitors can make their orders before the new year.

Carnival(狂欢节)is one of the most important national holidays in Brazil. The Double Ninth Festival(重阳节)is a special day for older people in China. On this holiday, younger people usually show love and respect to older people.
Respecting older people is a tradition in China.
There are many ways in which Chinese people express their respect.When an older person enters a room,everyone stands up.People are introduced from the oldest to the youngest.When we present a book to an older person,two hands are used.Young people always offer their seats to older people on a crowded subway or bus.
