Analysis of the Teaching Material 八年级的学生,有了一定的英语基础和语言学习能力,语言感知能力比较强,学习英语的积极性比较高,这是英语学习的优势。本课是一节听说课。首先通过歌曲If you are happy,将学生轻松带人本单元的学习,并有意识地感受i条件句的使用。通过创设聚会的情景,引人相关短语,并对目标语言进行输人与学习,同时,本课时重点突出核心句型If..will的使用。另一方面,进入了八年级,学生在学习上出现了分化现象,有的学生英语语言基础薄弱,语言拓展的运用能力比较差,因此学习信心不足而且学习过程缺乏耐性。所以作为老师要鼓励学生积极学习,激发学生的学习兴趣,引导学生逐步养成良好的学习习惯。
Analysis of the Students 这是学生第一次接触if.. will.句型,探索新事物的强烈好 奇心和求知欲非常有助于学生学习和接受新知识。而且,本课时的话题与实际生活密切相关,只要教师创设好语境,学生京 就会以很高的热情参与到学习活动中来。同时,学生在使用if条件句时,他们所使用的主句和从句的时态措配可能会出现问题,教师要密切关注。因为本单元是学生学习if.. will.引导的条件状语从句,一开始应该尽量让学生接触丰富的语言材料,感知、体会目标语言的运用,对其基础地位和铺垫作用应予以高度重视,课堂任务应该追求语言学习的实践和应用能力的提升。

T asks some questions like these: What will you do if you are happy What will you do if you feel sad ... 听歌曲,然后在情景中有意识地感受if条件句的使用。说说在各种情景中你会怎样。 通过情景创设引入—if条件句。通过自由讨论,尽可能多的发挥想象,做出各种预测,活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.T shows the picture on activity 1a, makes Ss think about What kind of things are they talking about 2.T asks Ss to call attention to the chart in 1a. Ss read the four statements in the left column.3.Ss match the statements with the pictures a—d on their own. T may ask a student to give his or her answers. 看课本图片,看看她们在讨论什么。读1a表中左侧句子,独立完成1a匹配任务. 通过图片观察,获取if条件句的信息。熟悉if句型,为下一步听力做好词汇准备。

T may give an example. 3.T asks Ss to listen and repeat. 4.Go through 1c, T lets Ss read the model. Then asks Ss to practice with partner. 5.T shows the pictures in Activity 2a and leads Ss to think: Nelly is going to organize a party. She is asking Mark for help. If you organize a party, what will you think about 6.Go through 2a, Ss read sentences first. T plays the recording, Ss listen and circle the correct answers.7.Go through 2b, T lets Ss Read the instructions. Makes sure the Ss know what to do. T play the recording again. Step 4Post-listening 1.Go through 2c. T asks two students to read the sample dialogue. Then get the Ss to role-play the conversation between Nelly and Mark. Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.If引导条件状语从句。if作连词,意为“假如;如果”。主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时表将来,即“主将从现”。If you leave now, you will never regret it. If she sleeps early, she will be able to get up early. If he doesn’t study hard, he will fail in the exam.2.have a great time同义短语为have fun, have a good time和enjoy oneself, 但have a great time表示的愉快程度更深一些.They are having a great/good time. =They are having fun. =They are enjoying themselves. 3.ask sb. to do sth. 请求/要求某人做某事 He asked the doctor to tell him the truth.ask for help/ sth. 请求帮助/要求某事物ask sb. in/out 邀请某人进来/出来ask sb. about sth. 询问某人关于某事4.too… to…意为“太…而不能…”,表否定意义。too后跟形容词或副词,to后跟动词原形。The box is too heavy to carry. too… to…结构可与not …enough to do sth.“不够……而不能……”及so… that… “如此……以至于……” 结构进行同义句转换。He is too young to go to school. = He is not old enough to go to school.= He is so young that he can’t go to school. 5.exciting & excitedexciting是“令人感到兴奋的”,通常主语是物/事件;excited是“对……感到兴奋”,通常主语是人。Are you excited about going to Beijing He told us an exciting story yesterday. 将知识点做好笔记 将本课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析,结合典例,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处
1.本节课的设计体现了任务型教学的设计理念,话题与学生实际 生活密切相关,使学生在每一个愉快的学习任务中体验英语的乐趣,最大限度地使每一位学生都参与进来:对于听力部分,在听之前都做了相关的渗透与铺垫,有利于培养学生学习英语的良好习惯。2.本单元的主题是“提建议”。学生对贴近生活的话题表达出极大的兴趣,能在课堂准确使用目标语言中的if条件句,表达时间安排和观点,并且对情态动词should有了一定程度的了解。通过2c和2d对话练习,多练习目标语言,巩固词汇和句型。
有待改进 1.由于时间关系些地方没有尽情地展开。所以,虽然调动了学生的积极性,却没有让广大的学生充分的参与。学生们在听同伴回答问题时,注意力不够集中。2.备课不仅仅要备教材,还要备学生。要根据学生英语基础的实际情况,设计一些开放性的资料来提高课堂教学质量。
