Judy: All right, but be careful! Don’t break anything.
Peter: Oh, I like this vase. I’ll just pick it up and…oops!

如:

be careful可单独使用,也可跟动词不定式或of/
with短语。如:
当心不要丢了钥匙。
Be careful not to lose the key.

look out for … 对……注意 / 小心
如:
当心!一辆小汽车开过来了。
Look out! A car is coming.
去露营时我们必须当心蛇。
We must look out for snakes when we go camping.
辨析:
look out语气最强,用于某种紧急的情况或者可能出现
危险的场合;be careful是一般的警告或劝告用语,可
用于各种情况。
3. pick up 拿起;捡起
接代词作宾语时,代词必须放在其中间;而接
名词作宾语时,名词可以放在其后面也可以放
在其中间。例如:
风把衣服刮到地上了。我们把它们捡起来吧。
