1. 把主动语态的宾语提到前面作被动语态的主语;
2. 把主动语态的动词变成“be + 过去分词”形式;
3. 把主动语态的主语变为介词by的宾语,可省略。

时态 构成 例句
一般现在时的被动语态 am/is/are +动词过去分词 Knives and forks are used for most Western food.
一般过去时的被动语态 was/were +动词过去分词 The room was cleaned by Lily yesterday.
一般将来时的被动语态 be going to/will be +动词过去分词 You are going to/will be invited to a big party.

主动语态变为被动语态的几种特殊句型
1. 含有短语动词的句子变为被动语态
含有短语动词的句子变为被动语态时,须把短语动词视为一个整体,不能丢掉其中的介词或副词,常见的这类短语动词有take care of、look after、take off、look at、put up等。
e.g. People take good care of old people in China.
Old people are taken good care of (by people) in China.

2. 含双宾语的主动结构变为被动语态
含有双宾语的主动句改为被动句时,应将其中一个宾语改为被动结构的主语,另一个宾语仍保留在原处。
e.g. My father bought me a new coat.
I was bought a new coat (by my father). (间接宾语作主语)
A new coat was bought for me (by my father). (直接宾语作主语)

3. 一些使役动词或感官动词的主动结构变被动语态
使役动词或感官动词make、see、hear等在主动语态中后接省略to的动词不定式作宾语补足语,在变为被动语态时要注意恢复to。
e.g. He made me stand outside.
I was made to stand outside (by him).
【注意】系动词feel、look、seem、taste、sound(等)和sell、write等
动词一般用主动形式表被动意义。
e.g. The food tastes delicious.

4. It + be + 过去分词 + that从句 (=主语 + be + 过去分词 + to do sth.)
据说 / 据报道 / 据悉 / 据信等……
It is said that the boy has passed the national exam.
The boy is said to have passed the national exam.
据说这个男孩已经通过了这次全国性的测试。
5. need doing表示被动意义。
My car needs repairing. (= to be repaired).
我的车需要修理。
The war broke out.
战争爆发了。
但不能说:The war was broke out.
6. 通常及物动词(短语)有被动语态,而不及物动词(短语)没有。
