Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课。在 Section A的基础上,围绕青少年生活中的问题,进一步谈论对事情结果的预测。首先通过Free talk 将学生轻松带入本节课的学习。1a-1d部分包含两个任务,一是导人青少年面临的选择未来职业的话题,并进一步拓展相关语言表达;二是通过听说活动,让学生在新的语境中继续巩固If..will.句型的使用。活动1a让学生思考生活中最重要的事情,学习六个短语,为下面的听说活动作铺垫。1b-1c的听力活动分步设计,听力材料是有关男孩 Michael 加人足球俱乐都的问题,通过俱乐都经纪人和Michael的父母对各种选择的结果的预测,融人了If条件句的使用。1a的口语活动让学生分别扮演Michael 和他的朋友,从而进一步拓展了听力对话的内容。
Analysis of the Students 通过Section A的学习,学生对if..will句型已经有了一定的理解和掌握,所以听力活动困难不大。本课时的话题是未来职业,与青少年密切相关,所以学生会很有兴趣,也会积极参与。听前做好充分的铺垫,有助于学生听力活动的顺利进行,也有利于听后的语言输出。听中活动注重听力策略的引导运用。听后活动达到应用目标语言的目的。该班学生学习不积极,主动性差,要鼓励学生勇敢表达,进行反复大量的操练达到掌握目标语言的目的,逐步养成良好的学习习惯。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.能掌握以下单词和短语:travel;travel around the world,become a great soccer player,get an education,go to college,agent。2.能掌握以下目标语言:If you become a Lion,you'll travel around the world.A:I think you should go to college.B:But if I go to college, I'l1 never become a great soccer player.3.能在听的过程中体验感知目标语言等内容,并学会提取所需要的关键信息,能够熟练运用should给出合理建议。4.能听懂和描述有关人生规划和选择的主题对话;能用if引导的条件状语从句对自己的未来作出假设和推测。
Learningability 1.运用if条件状语从句来表达因果关系2.运用if引导的条件状语从句表达个人看法;3.通过角色扮演活动,能够联系生活,针对不同的问题给出客观建议。
Thinking quality 学会从不同的立场做出合理的建议。
Cultural awareness 1.理性面对生活的规划和选择;2.培养从不同的认识角度出发看问题的能力;3.就对待某一事的看法上鼓励学生畅所欲言,帮助学生形成健康向上的人生观。

Teaching Procedures Teacher’s Activities Students’ Activities Intention
Step 1Lead-in 1.T plays a video showing travelling is important. 2.Brain Storm. T asks: What kind of things are the most important to you be happy go to college be famous ...Ss say like this:Be happy is important to me… 视频导入。头脑风暴,说说什么事情对你来说是最重要的? 利用情景导入图片导入,激发学生谈论日期和星期,点燃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.Go through 1a. T asks Ss to complete the work on their own.2.Do a quick check to see which things are the most important to Ss in the class.3.T shows pictures in 1a and says: This is Michael and this is the agent of the Lions. And in the second picture,Michael and his parents. What are they talking about May be they are talking about what he should do. They give him some advice. 学生讨论什么是最重要的。看1a图片。内容预测。通过1b标题,可能是劝说Michael的。 通过对建议话题探讨,为听力活动做好词汇准备。
Step 3While-listening 1.Go through 1b. T plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to the conversation. 2.Ss listen and put an “A” before each thing the soccer agent talks about and a “P” before each thing Michael's parents talk about. 3.T checks the answers with the Ss.4.Go through 1c. Ss listen again and complete the sentences in 1c.5.T says: Let’s retell conversation 1 with the help of the mind map.6. T plays the recording again. asks Ss to follow. 听录音,抓取前期预备的关键词,完成1b任务单。验证答案。再听,完成1c句子。按思维导图复述其中一个对话。再听录音,并跟读。 听前熟悉词汇,预测内容,听中获取关键信息。通过听录音完成句子匹配的活动,培养学生听中提取关键信息的能力。
Step 4Post-listening 1.T guides Ss to list the reasons the soccer agent mentioned to persuade Michael. 2.T guides Ss to list the reasons Michael’s parents mentioned to persuade him.3.Discuss. T says: The agent wants Michael to join the Lions. Michael’s parents want him to get an education. Who do you agree with 4.Discuss. What do you think is the most important thing to Michael And why Ss may say like this: I think going to college is the most important thing to Michael.5.Work on 1d. T lets Ss act out the conversation according to the listening. 列出职业经纪人劝说Michael的理由。同样方法列出父母 的理由。自由讨论,你赞成哪一方的意见 你的意见是什么?完成1d对话。 通过听中获取的信息,完成report.通过讨论,掌握建议的句型和should使用。通过对话,进一步掌握建议句型,拓展学生思维。
Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.travel v.& n. 旅行;游历e.g. Children under five usually travel free on train. 五岁以下的孩子乘火车通常是免费的。2.agent n. 代理人;经纪人 e.g. Mr. Lin is an agent for APPLE. 林先生是苹果公司的代理人。 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处
1.本节课的内容相对简单,学生完成任务比较顺利。对于听力部分,在 所之前都作了相关的渗透与铺垫,也培养了学生做听力活动时的良好习惯。2.任务型教学法的采用强化了学生对文本的理解; 以学生为本,构建有效的对话情境,引导学生自主合作;突出语言的语用功能,通过学科整合进行拓展,让学生学以致用,提升了学生的综合语言运用能力。不同形式的朗读及角色扮演,训练了学生使用正确的语音、语调。
有待改进 1.由于时间关系些地方没有尽情地展开。所以,虽然调动了学生的积极性,却没有让广大的学生充分的参与。2.小组活动准备时间过短,展示时间过长;应该让学生在学习1d之后,进行写作,形成篇章。
