学情分析
本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)四年级上册第六单元,主要围绕“家庭成员和家人职业"这个话题,重点学习更多的家庭成员名称及一些简单的职业。四年级的学生,他们具备一定的英语学习基础和英语学习能力,能够听懂、会说一些简单的语言,能在教师指导下初步形成规范的学习习惯,对课堂上的大多数学习活动有新鲜感,能在老师引导下完成相关学习任务。四年级的学生,他们在三年级下册学习过介绍家庭成员称呼的词汇和句型:mother(mum), father(dad), woman, man, grandfather,Who’s that man/ woman She’s/ He’s my father/ mother等;在四年级上册学习过介绍人物外貌和性格特征的单词和句型:strong, friendly, quiet, He is..., He has...,为本单元的学习奠定了基础。本单元继续了解更多的家庭成员及其职业,讨论、评价并形成好的家庭标准。同时本单元中所谈论到的家人的职业,也是为六年级上册第五单元What does he do 这个关于职业的话题做了铺垫,起到承前启后的作用。四年级的学生对“家”的理解大多数停留在知道家人的称呼、外貌,但是对于友爱、尊重、理解、互助的家庭观认识不深,包括如何承担家庭责任、爱护和欣赏家庭等。因此,需要教师采取有效措施,建立板块的教学链接,学生在解决任务的学习过程中,发展思维品质,了解中西方家庭文化差异,形成正确的家庭观,学会欣赏、爱护自己的家。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题,本单元学习的主题是“家庭成员和家人职业”。本单元要学习的核心词汇:家庭成员称呼及简单职业名词,谈论家人成员构成, 家人职业等相关句型。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learnparents, cousin, uncle, aunt, baby brotherMeet my family! This is my... 语篇研读(附图)
本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过Amy 和Chen Jie 在翻看照片并谈论各自的家庭成员结构时产生的对话,让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。先通过处理局部的重点句型,让学生进行小组合作操练句型,再回归语篇,解决问题How many people are there in your family My family has...people.等...逐步引导学生在发现问题,了解语言结构的同时,让学生在交际中巩固所学内容,从中体验、实践、交流和探究语言,达成逐步熟悉词汇的意义和功能再通过询问及回答家庭成员的相关问题,引导学生学会欣赏、爱护自己的家。
教学过程
核心素养教学目标 语言知识目标:能在图片和文本语境的帮助下, 在看、听、说的活动中,获取和梳理对话信息,理解对话中所使用的核心语言,理解talk部分对话. 熟练运用句型How many people are there in your family My family has...people.谈论家庭成员的构成 大胆说英语。思维能力目标: 能在教师引导下,能够运用所学句型谈论家庭成员的构成,能完成Let’s count部分能用How many ...句型进行询问并数一数, 做出正确的回答。学习能力目标: 能在音频和图片语境的帮助下, 理解talk部分对话。运用句子How many people are there in your family My family has...people.谈论家庭成员的构成等文化品格目标:通过游戏和小组合作等活动,学会与他人合作学习的能力了解英语的语言表达,体会不同的语言魅力,促进心智发展。
重点 能够熟读talk部分对话并能进行情景表演并能通过游戏和小组活动巩固句型。
难点 能熟练运用所学单词和句型How many people are there in your family My family has...people.等询问及回答家庭成员的相关问题。
