M10 The Spring Festival单元整体教学设计
一、模块主题 常见节假日、文化体验;世界主要国家的传统节日;世界主要国家的文化习俗与文化景观、节假日与庆祝活动;家庭与家庭生活;劳动习惯与技能,热爱劳动;劳动实践,劳动品质。
二、模块内容分析 U1在传统节日春节的主题下,讨论如何以实际行动准备春节庆祝活动。通过描述不同人物正在做的事情(现在进行时态)强调了家庭成员人人参与准备活动的劳动意识。 U2在准备庆祝春节的话题下,关注家庭主要成员(my mother)的当天劳动情况(现在进行时态)和通常的庆祝行为(一般现在时态),在应用实践和迁移创新环节能区分使用这两种时态。Unit 1已经有了初步的讨论,在Unit 2需要结合照片开展针对个体的细节描述,培养学生细致的观察能力和细节的表达能力。 U3作为复习和拓展单元,目的是进一步复习和巩固对春节及其准备活动的描述,并且拓展知识“给朋友写一封信,介绍圣诞节”这一语言性输出。
三、学情分析 学生已经进入初一学习后已三个月,初步掌握了基本的阅读技能,能够阅读技能,能够阅读相应水平的文章,并能从中获取具体信息,概括文段大意。学生对中国的传统节日春节有一定的了解,知道一些春节的习俗和庆祝活动,但词汇量有限,难以用英文准确表达出来。
四、模块教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:能听懂有关为“节日”做准备的句子,能听辨动词词组。 目标b:能就正在做或正在发生的事情进行简单的问答练习。流利的说出含有本模块生词的短语。 目标c:能读懂有关节日描述的短文,并且能将段落与图片,段落与问题搭配。 目标d: 学会写要点,句子以及段落,用and连接句子。

三、教材分析: What---语篇主题和主要内容 本课时模块的第二单元,课文以李珊家如何庆祝春节为主线,介绍了中国春节的传统民俗。课文通过三张相片的描述呈现了春节前,除夕夜,春节期间不同的传统习俗。 Why---语篇传递的主题意义
内容接近学生生活,学生通过学习学会介绍春节,有利于中国传统文化的传播,借助课文的语言来介绍西方节日-圣诞节,有利于学生们开拓视野,培养跨文化意识。 How---文体结构、语言特点及功能 通过指导学生阅读获取信息,培养阅读技能,继续学习现在进行时,区分现在进行时与一般现在时的用法。通过学生间的自主,合作学习,让学生充分地实践运用语言,并激发学生创造性思维的发展。
四、 教学目标: 学习能力目标: (1) 使用频度副词如usually, often, always和丰富的词组句式如to do sth.; in order to; It means…等说出一些春节的习俗以及意义; (2)使用常见的表示顺序和逻辑关系的连接词如and, but, however 等谈论春节的 新旧庆祝方式; (3)谈论自己对春节的感受以及愿望,深入了解传统文化; (4)从时间、活动、感受三方面去描述介绍春节。 思维品质目标: 能通过节日家人之间的团聚,珍惜家人间的情感和家人团聚的时光。 文化意识目标: 能尊重中国传统文化,有传播及弘扬传统文化的意识。
教学重难点 重点/难点: 使学生读懂有关春节的文章,获取文章大意及细节信息。 用现在进行时通过展示相片来介绍李珊一家如何过春节的,及借助相片介绍圣诞节。

While-reading Scanning ask students to scan the passage and match the paragraphs with the pictures in Activity1. Careful reading Present some sentences to the students and ask them to write “T” or “F”, also correct the wrong sentences after reading Paragraph C. Choose the best answers after reading. Reading in groups. Post reading Retell, let the students complete the passage with the correct form of the words and expression from the box in Activity 3. Call back the answers from two students then read the short passage.
