Step 1: check the homework
Talk about one of your friends: five years ago, today and in five years.
Step2: 1a.Look up the new words

Step3: 1b .Group work:
Think of other words and write them in the chart in 1a.
Then divide the class into groups of four and let them have a competition .

This part is talking about Alexis 10 years ago /today and /in 10 years.
Step 6: Pair work:

本节课词汇较多,但由于词汇均涉及学生的生活实际,而且在课堂中,我采用图文并貌,突出真实性,同时,我在教学中采用了任务型教学,设计了有层次和一定梯度且有启发性的问题,让他们在富有情趣的交际中愉快地主动地接受信息、加工信息、交流信息。而且和谐、融洽的课堂气氛,有利于激发他们的学习兴趣,在有兴趣的前提下是他们的想象力得到了充分发挥,他们把学习变成了自己主动、渴望的一种行为。因此本课的教学目标在愉悦的课堂气氛中得到落实和巩固。

一、教材分析?
本单元围绕“谈论问题” 及“提出建议”这两个话题,设计了相关的语言背景。重点学习一般将来时态。七年级下Unit 2 I’m going to study computer science. 已经学习了一般将来时,学生已经学会用be going to 结构谈论未来的计划,用be going to句型谈论未来的打算。本单元教材继续学习一般将来时,是对Unit 2教材的拓展和延续,即用Will 接动词原形来表示将来要发生的动作,让学生学会预测未来,从语法层面上来讲应该顺理成章。上册教材课后语法的渗透也为学生学习本单元内容做了有益的铺垫。谈论对未来生活的预测是学生较为感兴趣的话题,可以充分发挥学生的想象,拓展思维,激发学生开口说英语的欲望,充分调动学生学习的积极性,引导学生深入探究、自主地设计自己未来的生活。

SDR-4X is a new robot.It acts like a human being.It talks,sings,dances and it costs 1 a car.
In Tokyo,a human-shaped robot will go on sale 2 this year from Sony Corp.It remembers people’s faces,dances disco steps and 3 sings.But it’s an expensive toy.It will cost as much as a luxury car.

( B ) Have you ever noticed how busy our roads are becoming? Every year more and more cars are using them. Already in such countries as America almost every family has a car. Many accidents happen because cars are now made to travel very fast. Also,people waste time and money every day as long lines of cars move slowly into towns and cities. In most big towns it is very hard to find parking spaces. Wide,smooth,straight roads must be built now in place of the old and narrow roads. These roads must not pass through towns and cities. They must not be crossed by other roads. Today such roads are being built in many countries in the world. These roads have at least two lanes,one for slow-moving traffic and the other for fast-moving traffic. These roads do not pass through towns and cities;horses and bikes are not allowed on them. Accidents do not usually happen. Cars can travel hundreds of miles without having to stop. But these modern roads often cannot be built in towns and cities. Before a road in a town can be made wide,many buildings have to be pulled down. Some people feel that more car-parks should be built outside a city. Then the drivers should leave their cars and catch a bus or take a taxi to their offices.

The crow is an ordinary bird. It is about twenty inches long and black all over. Crows are dirty birds because they live on old bad food. Crows eat a lot of waste food. In this way they are more useful to us than any other bird. They clean up the dirty things in our streets. Crows are always hungry. They look for food all day long,and in the evening you can see them in large numbers flying back to their nests. They sleep there at night. Crows are much noisier than other birds. Very often a large number of crows will get together on one house and talk. Sometimes they talk together,and sometimes they do it by turns like human beings. It is easy to tell from crows sounds whether they are pleased or angry. Perhaps crows talk a lot because they are friendly birds. A pair of crows will live together all their lives,and if one of them dies,the other one becomes very sad and quiet for the rest of its life and sometimes it dies,too.

Tom and Fred are talking about the year 2020. “What will our world be like in the year 2020?” “I don't know,” says Fred. “What do you think?” “Well, no one knows, but it’s interesting to guess.” “In the year 2020 everyone will carry a pocket computer. The computer will give people the answers to all their problems. We shall all have telephones in our pockets, too, and we’ll be able to talk to our friends all over the world. Perhaps we’ll be able to see them at the same time. ” “A lot of people will live and work under the sea. Perhaps there will be big towns, factories and farms under the sea, too. ” “Machines will do most of the work, and so people will have more holidays, perhaps they’ll work only two or three days a week. They’ll be able to fly to the moon by spaceship and spend their holidays there. ” “I’m looking forward(期待)to the year 2020. I hope to go to the moon! Life in the future will be different from life today. Between then and now many changes will happen. But what will the changes be?
The population is growing fast. There will be many people in the world and most of them will live longer than people live now.
Computers will be much smaller and more useful, and there will be at least one in every home. And computer studies will be one of the important subjects in schools then. People will work fewer hours than they do now and they will have more free time for sports, watching TV and traveling. Traveling will be much cheaper and easier. And many more people will go to other countries for holidays.
There will be changes in our food, too. More land will be used for building new towns and houses for all the people. Then there will be less room for cows and sheep, so meat will be more expensive. Maybe no one will eat it every day. Instead, they will eat more fruits and vegetables. Maybe people will be healthier. Work in the future will be different, too. Robots will do dangerous and hard work. Because of this, many people will not have enough work to do. This will be a problem.
