There are many theme parks in Florida. These amusement parks are designed for kids big and small and have plenty to offer adults, too.
Magic Kingdom
Orlando is the center of theme parks in Florida. Of all the parks, no trip to Orlando would be complete without a visit to Magic Kingdom. The center of Disney world, with Main Street USA and Cinderella's Castle, is here at Magic Kingdom. There are rides for kids of all ages as well as shopping and dining.
Epcot
After Magic Kingdom, the best-known theme park in Disney World is Epcot. This is a good place for curious kids who want to learn about the planets, the stars, and the workings of the human body. The good and wine festival is another big draw to Epcot.

When I was a young man, I had a big ego (自负) and very little empathy. I thought I knew everything. I looked forward to fame and success. I can even remember proudly telling one of my friends in college: “If everyone listened to me, they would all be happy.” I finally left school, ready to take on the world. Little did I know the world was about to take on me.
In the years following college, instead of success, I found struggles. I had trouble finding work. The jobs I did work at were either temporary or back-breaking and none of them paid well. When my wife and I had children, we were shocked to learn that not one but both of our sons had autis (自闭症) and would need to be taken care of for the rest of their lives. I had no idea why this had happened to us and I was very angry with the world.
In time, however, I began to change. My formerly massive ego was shrinking fast and my empathy was beginning to grow. Instead of finding joy in success, I found it in moments of love. Playing and laughing with my sons brought me so much happiness. My boys taught me more about peace, patience, kindness, joy, and unconditional love than I could have ever learned on my own. I began to share the lessons I learned through my writing and my life.
I finally realized that my purpose in this world had nothing to do with fame or success but everything to do with allowing love and light into my life and sharing it with everyone I could.

Many international students studying abroad in America have several supposed ideas about American culture. After visiting the country, many international students showed the culture shock they received in America. Here are some culture shocks in America that most of the international students came across.
It's surprising to note that kids, the youth and adults refer to each other with their first names, This is a very uncommon sight. Many international students might find it surprising and take time to adjust to this tradition.
Another culture shock is that, in America, there could be only one or two classes a day. Usually, they’re conducted in the afternoon or in the evening. This means the students get enough time to sleep late, wake up around noon and have time for different chores. Besides, having convenience in the schedule of classes, students also enjoy long hours of breaks.
Among the many culture shocks in America, multiple languages are quite common there. Many international students would move to America, believing that the only language is English. However, that's not the case. The citizens commonly speak languages such as Spanish, French, German, Chinese and others. So, if you're comfortable with any of the above-mentioned languages, you might get surprises.
Many international students are used to using kilograms, metres, litres, degrees centigrade as the units of weight, length, volume, temperature. But they might be perplexed to see a different metric system in America. There, pounds, feet and Fahrenheit are usually used as units for measurements. This system is quite puzzling to comprehend at the beginning for many international students.
Many international students might find various culture shocks in America depending on the background they come from. Thus, they may need a long time to adjust themselves to the unfamiliar environment.
28.What may make international students surprised at school
A. Adults are often referred to with their titles.
B. The number of classes is fewer than expected.
C. Kids refer to adults with their family names.
D. Students can freely do different chores in class.
29. Why do international students care little about language barriers in America
A. English there is easy to understand.
B. All of them can speak English fluently.
C. There are several other official languages.
D. They may be able to use their native languages there.
30.Wat does the underlined word “perplexed” mean in paragraph 5
A. Interested. B. Frightened. C. Confused. D. Excited.
31.What is the best title for the text
A. Multicultural Experiences Are Waiting for You
B. International Students Are Welcome to America
C. Culture Shocks International Students May Experience in America
D. Reasons Why There Are a Large Number of Culture Shocks in America
D
Many leading AI researchers think that in a matter of decades, artificial intelligence will be able to do not merely some of our jobs, but all of our jobs, forever transforming life on the earth.
The reason why many people reject this as science fiction is that we’ve traditionally thought of intelligence as something mysterious that can only exist in biological organisms, especially humans. But such an idea is unscientific.
From my point of view as a physicist and AI researcher, intelligence is simply a certain kind of information-processing performed by elementary particles (基本粒子) moving around, and there is no law of physics that says one can’t build machines more intelligent than us in all ways. This suggests that we’ve only seen the tip of the intelligence iceberg and that there is an amazing potential to unlock the full intelligence that is potential in nature and use it to help humanity.
If we get it right, the upside is huge. Since everything we love about civilization is the product of intelligence, amplifying our own intelligence with AI has the potential to solve tomorrow’s toughest problems. For example, why risk our loved ones dying in traffic accidents that self-driving cars could prevent or dying of cancers that AI might help us find cures for Why not increase productivity through automation and use AI to accelerate our research and development of affordable sustainable energy
I’m optimistic that we can develop rapidly with advanced AI as long as we win the race between the growing power of our technology and the knowledge with which we manage it. But this requires giving up our outdated concept of learning from mistakes. That helped us win the race with less powerful technology. We messed up with fire and then invented fire extinguishers, and we messed up with cars and then invented seat belts. However, it’s an awful idea for more powerful technologies, such as nuclear weapons or super intelligent AI-where even a single mistake is unacceptable and we need to get things right the first time.
32. How do many people feel about leading AI researchers’ predictions
A. Worried. B. Curious. C. Doubtful. D. Disappointed.
33. What does the author think of intelligence
A. We know little about it. B. It belongs to human beings.
C. It is too difficult to understand. D. We have a good command of it.
34. What does the underlined word “upside” in Paragraph 4 probably mean
A. Cost. B. Potential. C. Quantity. D. Advantage.
35. What’s important for us in the race between people and technology
A. Learning from failure. B. Increasing our intelligence.
C. Avoiding making mistakes. D. Making accurate predictions.

Dear Mike,
I can’t wait to share a piece of good news with you. A Chinese folk culture theme park has just been built in my hometown. I think this is a great chance for you to learn more about Chinese culture, so I’d like to invite you to visit the park with me.
We can meet at the bus station at 8 next Saturday morning and then set off for there. During the visit, we will learn about Chinese folk culture and experience various forms of folk art, through which we can see Chinese history changes and great society development, especially Chinese countryside. When we visit it, we had better behave well and follow the related rules and order. Don’t smoke, make noises or throw rubbish anywhere. I am sure you can harvest and benefit from this visit.
Looking forward to your early reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
