Everywhere in a passage, usually not the first sentence of a paragraph
We can predict the form and content of gap sentences with the help of their types before we look at the choices.
How to complete a text with gaps
The procedure:
Step 1: Read through the whole passage quickly by skimming the _____ paragraph and the _____ or the last sentence of each paragraph, or the title and sub-titles,if any, to find out the _____ and structure of the passage.
Step 2: Circle key words in the nearest sentences _____ and after a gap while you read the passage carefully. And then read the 7 choices to look for the words relevant to the ______ words until you give a definite answer.
Step 3: Put the ______ back into the passage and check whether it is the most satisfactory one for the gap.

Each group select a student as the representative to come on stage to present group ideas.
Your ideas are required to be presented in four parts.
1. What ‘s the type of the gap sentence (Topic/Transitional/Explanatory)
