2. could和should都可以用来表示建议或劝告,前者比后者在语气上更加婉转、客气。 could意为“可以”, should意为“应该;应当”。
e.g. — I need some money to pay for the summer camp.

—你应该/可以向你的哥哥借一些钱。

3. although / though
although的意思是“尽管,虽然”,用来引导让步状语从句,在一般情况下可以和though互换,但though比较口语化。而although较为正式,另外although的语气比though重。当although / though引导的从句放在句首时,主从句之间要用逗号隔开。
e.g. He insisted on doing it although I warned him not to.
虽然我警告他不要做,但他仍然坚持要做。

so that 引导目的状语从句,意为“以便”,=in order that,意为
“ 为了”,此时从句中多含有can, could 等情态动词。
e.g. I got up early so that I could get there earlier.
