在小组内根据提示在地图上画出箭头,然后每组派代表将地图板书到黑板上。小组之间互相订正,查缺补漏。
活动三:谈论地图
1.完成教材P115上的第四题。读短文,看短文下面的指南针箭头指向什么方向 在小组内讨论答案,每组派代表上台讲述答案。
2.准备一张世界地图,在小组里谈论每个国家所处的位置。

●North points up on the map.在地图上向上的方向是北。
point up意为“指向 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )上方”。该短语是由“动词+副词”构成的。point意为“指向”,后面的up是副词作状语,表示所指方向,意为“向上;往上”,反义词是down。常用搭配有stand up (起立), get up (起床), eat up(吃光), up and down (上上下下),等。
与point相关的其他短语:point ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) down 指向下方, point right 指向右方, point left 指向左边, point out 指出, point at / to 指向。
辨析point at和point to:
point at 侧重表示指向距离近的事物,着重于指的对象。
point to 侧重表示指向距离远的事物,着重于指的方向。
例如:point at the tree 指着那棵树　　　point to the east 指向东方
