教学目标 At the end of this lesson, students will be able to: 1. know the words well: same, love, with, sport, them, only, like, easy, after, class, classmate 2. understand the sentences and know how to use them: I don’t have a soccer ball, but my brother Alan does. I have five baseballs, three soccer balls and four volleyballs. I love sports, but I don’t play them. I only watch them on TV. 3. know the simple present tense to have. 4. know what they should do in fast reading, careful reading and further reading while they are reading a passage. 5.Complete the tasks and use the words and sentences in real life; 6. Encourage the students to play sports in everyday life.
教学重点 1. The structures to talk about ownership. 2. Skills in fast reading, careful reading and further reading when reading a passage.

Step 1 Lead-in Let’s chant. 2. let’s watch. 3.Let’s match. 教师带领学生chant,将球类词汇和本节课的目标语言唱出来。 这既让学生觉得有趣活跃了课堂气氛,又将本节课的重点提前预热。 通过观看自拍短视频“the sports day of Class 2007”,将学生带入运动会情境中,并在观看视频后设置连线活动检测学生的听力理解,为课文学习做好铺垫。
Step 2 Reading 1.Fast reading Read the passage within one minute and answer the question: Who has a soccer ball 通过快速阅读,引导学生回答问题:Who has a soccer ball 并提醒学生阅读技巧:关注每一段落的主题句。
2.Careful reading Read paragraph 1 and mark true (T) or false (F). Read paragraph 2 and answer the questions. Read paragraph 3 and fill in the blanks. 通过仔细阅读,学生阅读各个段落来了解和掌握文章的详细信息。第一段设置的是T or F 题型并让学生在平板上全班作答;第二段设置的是回答问题并由Gina的观点启发学生思考;第三段设置的是语法填空题型并让学生进行平板全班作答。根据段落内容设置适合的题型帮助学生仔细理解文章。
3.Post reading Retell the passage according to the chart below. 通过复述课文,学生能更熟悉和掌握文章的语言,为下一步的产出做准备;完成由字词句到篇章的过渡,考察学生输入到输出。
Step 3 Production Group work 通过小组合作活动,四人一组问卷调查的形式,加深理解和运用课堂所学知识,为知识迁移做必要的准备。
Step4 Consolidation Emotional aim: Homework 引导学生热爱球类运动,享受运动,享受生活。 鼓励学生课后将文章按一定的方法(如Mind Map)背诵下来。(共19张PPT)
