Ⅰ.教学内容分析
该板块的活动主题是“学习做出人生抉择”。阅读文本是一篇人物小传。文章按照时间顺序叙述了林巧稚的一生，其中着重描述了她曾面临的人生抉择，例如：是遵循中国传统的道德观念结婚成家，还是不顾学费昂贵去追求自己的医学梦？而林巧稚所作出的抉择无不反应了她坚定的信念，美好的心灵，高度的职业责任感和奉献精神。
Ⅱ.学情分析
2班属于高一年级第二梯队，除了少数偏科严重，大部分学生对英语有一定的热情，在老师的引导下愿意进行思考，有一定的配合度。但是主动性比较差，表现力也会弱一些。

本节课围绕“学会做出人生选择展开”。从聊“选课”开启课堂，贴近学生的实际生活，引起共鸣。课堂的核心包括：传记的理解；林巧稚的人生经历；面临的主要选择；选择产生的后果；分析人物的优良品质。层层递进，步步相扣，让学生对林巧稚有充分的认识，并且在她身上学习到优秀的人格品质。在讨论环节，也设计供选择题目，目的是让学生“学即用”，做出自己的选择，表达自己的看法。最后“无论做出什么选择，不忘初心”结束今天的课堂。
